Breakfast was superb! Free unlimited coffee, tea and ice. Smoking room doesn't smell. All clean. Good view of Mt Fuji if you're lucky and the mountain do show up.

Staff doesn't speak English but they do their best to communicate. Just use google translate app where they can write what they want to say.

If you book here request a corner room on floor 4 or above ( they are the biggest, we were in 402) facing Mount Fuji, the view from your window is breathtaking. Staff have limited English ( like our Japanese)but we communicated through a google app and a bit of old fashioned sign language, the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. There was a variety of food for breakfast with a mix of western and Japanese, We naturally tried a bit of everything. From Gotemba station it took us about 12 minutes to walk to the hotel, if you don’t fancy the walk the taxi stand is just outside the station.

They do need a new toaster, theirs took ages to heat up. Not a bad review if that’s all we can complain about!

Fantastic breakfast buffet. Great view of Fuji. Spacious room. Excellent amenities. Helpful staff. Relaxing onsen.

Only complaints were the wifi was only in the lobby for the first floor. The person next to me kept turning on their lights and leaving.
