Fantastic stay in a Fantastic...

Lovely room overlooking the swimming pool and with wonderful sea view. Breakfast was continental style breakfast brought to us on trays because of COVID-19 but had more than we required with a list of hot food etc to order. Restaurant at the hotel was one of the best meals we had while staying in the Oia area. All of the staff were very friendly and made us feel most welcome. Room was cleaned spotlessly inside and they even cleaned the outside walls and steps etc every day. Check in and out was very quick. Hotel was a 20min easy walk to the centre of Oia and we did this most evenings on our 7 day stay. Hotel is deserves a much better star rating than it gets as it is more like a 4 star hotel.

Only downside was we only booked a week and wished it was for two weeks

Exceptional

The room was comfortable and the hotel has very relaxing vibes since it’s more cut off. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant as a whole was good. The staff were kind. Overall great value for money. Oh and WiFi reached our room and was strong in public areas. We rented a bike as distances on the island are quite far. There was access to a good sized car park.

Overall, very satisfied with our stay.

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful stay in this boutique hotel conveniently located 10-15minute walk from the centre of Oia. Our room was spacious and very clean with an added bonus of an outdoor seating area overlooking the famous Santorini sunset. Pool was perfect with plenty of sun lounges for guest. The staff were excellent and went over and above to accommodate us with our lively toddler. The restaurant had an amazing view and delicious menu. The breakfast was brilliant. Would definitely recommend for families or a couple.

Hotel was very clean with a spacious room, the bed was amazing and super comfortable. Great breakfast in the morning with lots of choice. Good location, around 10-15 min walk from the main town. The hotel has amazing views to see the beautiful Santorini sunset.

The pool area needs a bit of an update, compared to the rest of the hotel this area is quite dated and the sun beds were uncomfortable to lie on.

Great location, clean, nice pool to chill around, comfy bed, cosy atmosphere, nice rooms. I was travelling with a friend and we booked to separate rooms. We got an upgrade to superior rooms upon arrival. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast area/restaurant is nice. The breakfast had a wide variety of options. Very generous portions that are nicely presented. Staff members working in the restaurant are very attentive. We got a late checkout till 6 pm as we were flying out at 11 pm. I would highly recommend.

Nothing that I didn’t like.

The staff were very helpful. We're so glad to be able to get to the islands after lockdown and enjoy a special time to see Greece. Everyone is taking proper precautions after the restrictions have been raised from the lockdown, to be very diligent and keeping others as safe as possible. I could go on and on about the staff and how helpful they were. We even brought our puppies on their first vacation! The hotel was very dog friedly hotel.

The hotel is well located ,between Oia and Imerovrigli. Close to access to hiking. Breakfirst offers a wide large choice of homemade food. Panoramic view and the pool are very good.

Very short walking distance to Oia, near many restaurants walking distance. Room was spacious and comfortable, also very clean. Staff were very nice and resourceful. Restaurant food was delicious and well priced. Hotel dogs were super cute!

Only thing I can say is there is no wifi in the rooms only public areas which was a bit annoying when you just wanted to relax in bed after a long day out. Also, no tv in room.

Comfortable beds, fabulous location and incredible views! The restaurant has reasonably priced and delicious food too. Only 10 min walk to Oia, but away from noise and all of the tourist areas. Bus stop at the door to go to Fira so you can go anywhere on the island. 10/10!!!!!

This hotel was fantastic. The views from the rooftop restaurant over Oia for sunset was one of my favorite parts of my trip. The hotel is an easy walk to Oia while avoiding the crazy crowds. The rooms are clean and well decorated and the staff was great

The staff were so friendly and efficient. The location is just a 15 minute walk from the crazy busy Oia. The food is really good and you have a fantastic view of the sunset from the balcony in the restaurant. Each room has its own balcony too.

This hotel is in a quiet area but close to all the action. Plenty of places to park your car. Good breakfast. Nice restaurant, not too expensive and good food. Our room was perfect!

Super cool and stylish room, absolutely loved the bed and it’s design. Great view across to the east side of the island and very helpful reception staff made our stay a good one. The hotel is situated just at the start of the one way system of Oia, which was perfect for us. Very peaceful, but within reach of the amazing town of Oia ( way better than Fira circus ).

Had to pay for a decent coffee at breakfast. But that’s just being fussy

Our room at Finikia Memories Hotel was wonderful to relax in, the design was lovely. The facilities of the hotel really were quite perfect. We especially liked the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere and the excellent and personal service of the staff.

The facilities are great, nice pool and jacuzzi with an amazing view of the sunset. The food in the restaurant is delicious. Very close to Oia and the bus stop is right outside the hotel.

They don’t provide water during breakfast, the staff said we have to buy it because in Santorini they don’t drink tap water. And the shower head in the bathroom is too low, so if you wanna wash your hair you have to hold it and obviously you can’t scrub yourself properly.

The view from the restaurant/pool area was beautiful and the sunsets were beautiful. Helpful hotel staff and very friendly lovely restaurant/bar staff too. Location was perfect if you want to be walking distance from Oia with a bit of extra privacy and very close to the bus stop to explore the rest of Santorini.

I loved the cleanliness and the romantic vibe of the room! The location of the hotel is a plus, it’s not too close to the loud town, but close enough to enjoy the nearby town of Oia whenever you feel like! I would come to this exact hotel if I were to come to Santorini again in the future.

I didn’t like that I couldn’t use the jacuzzi due to the fact that it wasn’t filled with water during the time we stayed. But that didn’t bother me too much, given that they have a pool and a stunning view with lounge chairs.

Very friendly staff and a beautiful hotel set on lots of levels overlooking the sea. Very typical and a great location to be out of the way of all the tourists in Oia but still within a 15 minute walk. The hotel restaurant on the rooftop is a great setting and the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast. Our room was good, comfy bed and good air con.

We don’t recommend this location for those who don’t havé a car or scooter du ring the peak season. The bus never stopped at the bus stop. We allais had to walk 25ms from Ioa and at night It can be a bit dangerous beaucause there is no sidewalk on the roads.

Fabulous rooms, staff and restaurant. We ate in most nights. Excellent quality and views. Great respite from the crowds.

The facility are very good and the hotel is well located between Oia and Thira. The staff at the restaurant are very good and they have a good menu where you can see a beautiful sunset ! The bedroom is nice and there is enough space for a twin.

The staff at the reception is ok but could have been warmer as they seems quite distant with us but in an overall way, the hotel is very good and I would recommend this place.

We were warmly welcomed, the staff was very nice, the room was clean and naturally cold that we didn't use the AC even though we stayed in late july. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious and we had extra 10% off for the other meals at the Finikia Memories restaurant which we totally recommend

The staff made the whole experience! In our 3 night stay they became like family! From the reception staff to the restaurant staff. The room was always clean aswell as the pool. Had such a nice stay!

It is actually the right place to be if you want relax, privacy and good vibe in Santorini. Amazing staff and facilities.

A bit far away from the city, people wrote in previous reviews that it's 15 min walk, I can say it's more 20-25. To walk in the city Oia you need to walk along the road and it's not comfortable during the hot time and cars passing u. Lot's of tourists in Oia during the evening time to see the sunset. Almost not possible to move in the center.

Excellent location, lovley hotel with sea view. Staff is very friendly and restaurant is also very good. Breakfast was simple but good. Would stay here again.

Superb hotel located really close to Oia (and a bus stop for Fira 25m away). We even had a jacuzzi next to the room, the pool was great - tip: try watching the sunset from the pool one night! A lot better than Oia with no tourists around and has the added bonus of you being able to enjoy a cold beer with it. Very clean room but also very nice cleaner who spoke English and helped us with towels.

In front of the room is the swimming pool. Very relax! The view of the restaurant for breakfast is very beautiful. The people in the reception are very nice and help to answer every questions. You can ask for the shuttle between airport/port and hotel, but need to charge 35€. (I don’t know why the driver took 40€ when we arrive the port, maybe need extra tips?) The bus station is very near the hotel and very convenient to go to Fira and Oia. Need to walk around 30minutes between Oia and the hotel. You can have nice walking in the night, but might be very hot in the day time.

The breakfast every morning was very generously sized and the staff was always welcoming and helpful. The property was beautiful and I would definitely come back!

The only improvement I could see was having some music or a bar down near the pool area.

Super friendly staff. The gentleman at the reception helped me with the luggage and booked a sailing tour. When I forgot my power bank, he even sent it to the hotel I stay in the other town. The facilities are new, very spacious room. Feel safe as a solo traveller and since it's away from the tourist crowds it's quite at night. It's around 20 minutes walk from Oia which is acceptable and it's great value if you have a limited travel budget while don't want to sacrifice the quality of your stay!

We loved the view! And the staff was so accommodating and friendly. The waitress at the restaurant was super helpful when we tried to navigate our way to the downtown area using local bus routes.

When we checked in, there were bunch of fruit flies in the room. Once we aired out the room, it was fine but wish it was cleaned out ahead of time.

Large clean room next to pool. About 0.5 miles out of town at edge of built up area. Seemed a good balance of walking to town and having peace and quiet. Their restaurant had a perfect view of the sunset without the crowds in Oia downtown. While not a caldera view, the view the farms and islands nearby was excellent

Took a bit to get used to European style shower

The breakfast was wonderful, and included a spread of yogurt/fruit/granola, pastries, eggs and bacon/sausages, coffee, juice, etc. The property is beautiful, the staff was incredibly accommodating for our very early arrival, and they answered every question we asked with patience. The pool area is beautiful, and our room was spacious. The property is about a 10 minute walk to Oia, and it was so nice to be able to walk into town for great dinner and desserts.

The only thing that would have been a nice perk would have been having WiFi in our room. But there is WiFi in the public areas!

Everything went smoothly. Our plane landed late at night and hotel arranged us transfer from airport at our request. Room was ok, cave-style decoration and little terrace with two chairs and a table outside. Room was kept clean and towels chanced daily. Hotel is located about 15 minutes walk away from Oia, which is really nice bonus - you don't have to use buses or taxi to get to main attractions of Oia if you don't want to. Breakfast was buffet with good variety of different things to choose from. Pleasant stay. Beautiful pool area.

Everthing was amazing and just like the pictures. The room was very cute and clean! By the pool you have an amazing view where you can even enjoy sunsets if you do not want to go Oia (which is 15 min walking distance from the hotel). Also their foood is amazing! We deciced to eat a couple of times in their restaurant (or took it to the pool) and everything is super high quality and delicious. I can recommend the mussels with ouzo sauce, it was my favorite. I want to give a big compliment to the staff! They are super friendly and helpfull, always smiling and very social. They made my stay extra enjoyable. We definitly recommend this place and would love to come back! Thanks finiki memories hotel for everything.

Location was great - nice 15 min walk to Oia via trekking path. Nice buffet. Food (from the restaurant) incredible! Staff were very nice and helpful.

The hotel was great, quiet and peaceful and it’s away from hustle and bustle of the city life.

The owner has 2 large dogs, that bark easily when they see stranger which can be intimidating. It would be better if the receipt could give a heads up to all their guests.

The staff is very kind and the double room is very nice ! It’s close to Oia and not to far to Fira. The restaurant is very good as well !

The WiFi doesn’t work properly in the room

The staff were very friendly & attentive. The hotel appearance, setting and views were beautiful and much better than I had expected. I booked for a party of 6 and they were very impressed by the hotel. The breakfast was very good and the evening meals were even better. It is reasonably close to Oia if you don't mind a 20 minute stroll. We loved our room with its cave house styling and walk-in shower. The bed in our room was so comfortable, I would have liked to have brought the mattress home with me. We also liked the little patio areas with table & chairs outside each room which meant our party of 6 could meet for early evening drinks.

One member of our party had the room where the bed is up on a mezzanine floor with the bathroom below. They felt that after they had had a shower the bedroom area felt damp. Our room had a separate walk-in shower with rain shower head which was brilliant. Because the hotel is positioned on top of a large hill with fantastic views, it can be breezy so wrap up warm for the evenings.

First things first, as compared to the overly expensive 'cave room' hotels in Oia, this is MUCH better value for money! Yes you aren't VERY central, but the bus stop for Finikia (a stop on the Fira-Oia bus route that comes every 20 minutes, each ride is 1.80Euro per person) is literally 5 minutes away, so you can get anywhere very conveniently even without a car! Also, those Oia cave rooms basically mean that you only have a 'pool' the size of a bathtub while all the HOARDS of tourist take pictures of the Oia view (INCLUDING YOUR ROOM AND POOL) and cause a lot of noise. Finikia Memories has great 'Cycladic' decor a lovely sized pool where you can look up from/photograph from and get the very Greek island vacation pics and experience for much less money! Secondly, the staff here is lovely, especially the reception lady! My friend and I didn't really plan much for our trip so we just asked her for suggestions when we got there, she told us to go down to Ammoundi Bay in Oia (GREAT food GREAT view, try the yellow restaurant to the left of the stairs down), and even helped us book a WineTour trip that included 3 winery visits and a farm visit with sunset view. It was unfortunate that weather was bad on the day of our trip so it was cancelled, however, the lady immediately helped us replan our day and taught us how to get to another winery. She even found me safety pins for my too-big dress! Really ever so patient and welcoming! 100% recommend staying at Finikia Memories, you won't regret it!

The wifi in our room was a bit bad but you can always go up to reception to download stuff to then read/watch in your room!!
