Rainbow Sands Resort

Pleasant staff. Central location, short walk to shops, beach, pubsetc. Adequate free parking on site. Rooms are basic but have everything you need for a short stay. Cold air con and ceiling fan. Comfortable bed, clean, bathroom a bit dated but didn’t bother us, great shower, decent size balcony to sit out, didn’t try pool but it looked ok. All in all a good value for money property which I would recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We had noisy drunken neighbours (not motels fault of course) up arguing for most of the night so if your a light sleeper I’d probably take some ear plugs as sound definitely carries between rooms.

Very accommodating staff (assisted with after hours check in) and great location. Excellent water pressure.

The bed was very uncomfortable and furniture rather dated. Our swag would've been more comfortable. Bathroom still had toothpaste marks from previous guests on sink. Didn't feel like value for money as we had to remove our own rubbish and clean our own dishes even though there is no kitchenette (washing dishes in the bathroom is just not ok).
