first it was my wife,s birthday and the w2eeken was superb, bonfire, fireworks, and the food was very nice, service was as you would expect of a 1st class hotel.

the weather. but who really likes the weather we have had lately?

Breakfast was excellent and the cleanliness of the hotel was very good also gardens were superb

The room was smaller than I expected and the bed was not particularly comfortable

Breakfast was great,lady on reception desk very beautiful, grounds superb.

All the floorboards getting to our room squeaked all the time!!

The staff were very courteous and hospitable. Beautiful location - countryside outlook yet near to major roads. Unfortunately as we only stayed for one night I can only comment on the breakfast which was both plentiful and delicious, catering for all tastes. Our bedroom was both spacious and comfortable. Would definately recommend to family and friends.

Friendly staff and excellent food, delightful surroundings

Room was a little small considering the price. Since the price we paid was an offer price, it was acceptable (because it was certainly clean and comfortable) but I would not have wanted to pay the full normal price.

Appearance and location of hotel

The room we were allocated was the darkest gloomiest hotel room I had ever stayed in.

Very good country house type hotel. Quiet and very well kept gardens and grounds. Superb location.el

The washbasin taps in room 17 are old and the hot one did not work too well. Both taps need updateing.
