When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Absolutely inadequate transfer at Munich airport. Lufthansa sold a ticket for a flight with 45 mins transfer, and your connecting flight is actually in a different terminal. In order to get to that terminal you need to walk 10 mins to a train station, take a train, and then go through passport control. All this in less than 45 mins (deduct 20 mins for boarding)? Madness.
Flights on time, planes up to date with clean toilets, comfortable seats and working IFE. Helpful Lufthansa staff. Food was good, but can always be better, esp vegan and vegetarian food loaded from the USA. Overall great experience.

Way-finding to my connecting flight in Munich was horrible. I asked directions and was directed out through security and had to clear back through to get to my next flight, so I missed it and had to book a new flight hours later.
Our luggage was left behind alongside many others who’d transferred from another Lufthansa flight.

For some reason they wouldn’t my spouse and I let us check in online, so we had to go in person in the morning, which means that there weren’t any seats left that were together. The plane didn’t have individual air vents so the plane was sweltering almost the entire way. The snack before we landed was one of the most vile sandwiches I’ve ever eaten — emmenthaler cheese on dense, dry wheat bread with like four cucumbers and a pile of shredded carrots. The flight crew was very kind, though.
The airport and Luftanza were understaffed. It was slow going.
The seats seemed much closer together on this plane. I felt much more cramped than other journeys in coach. Other passengers around me who are taller or bigger had even even more trouble.
Leider wurde unser Gepäck vom Mumbai Flug nicht auf den Basel Flug gebracht, so dass wir ohne Gepäck in Basel ankamen. Auch wurde diese Information wohl erst spät nach Basel gebracht,da wir dort ewig auf unser Gepäck gewartet haben bis wir informiert wurden. Das trübt den ansonsten sehr guten Flug.

I mean, really bad. 4) There was a charge for alcohol whereas British Airways was complimentary. 5) Overall, I will never fly Aer Lingus again. It was the worst flying experience in memory."

Very inconvenient. Leg room ridiculously small ."

My wife and I showed up to O'Hare in Chicago to be told that the flight is cancelled. There was no notification, absolutely nothing. I was on hold for nearly 2 hours with Kayak. Once finally connected, the customer service agent, argued with us for nearly an hour saying the flight was not cancelled!!!! We googled it! We told him to look up on google, and he kept on saying we were wrong! After 3 hours go by, he tells "oops, it's cancelled". We wasted nearly 5 hours with Kayak to try and get different seats, and then Kayak gave my wife and I seats that are not sitting together. If Kayak, looked on google, and actually tried to help I would've had seats with my wife. So disappointing. Worst experience I've had with customer service and with a company. I'll never use Kayak again."

Positiv: "The snack - such as it is - is certainly a step above what I get when I fly the same route on United. Also the entertainment system is much better, and free! Cabin staff are friendly and efficient. The seating is about the same as on every other airline. I was in steerage for the Mexico City - San Jose leg. A lady was seated in my window seat when I boarded, and seemed surprised when I insisted on reclaiming my seat (She had the middle seat). In contrast to Mexico City, the San Jose airport is a model of efficiency. Immigration is rapid, luggage comes out on the carousel in good time, and best of all there is a duty free shop right in the luggage claim area, so it is unnecessary to buy liquor ahead of time."
Negativ: "Mexico City is a terrible airport to have to pass through. Everyone has to go through Immigration (similar to US airports in that regard) even if just in transit. However, they have few officers there, and almost half of the available booths weren't even manned. The result was chaos, with the immigration hall filled with grouchy travellers, and other travellers stuck in aircraft waiting to disembark. Expect to be stuck in Immigration for a minimum of an hour after landing; maybe plan on 1 1/2 hours just to get through Immigration and Customs. And if you are making a connection, whatever you do don't go through the sliding doors on the other side of Customs - I made that mistake once! I speak Spanish, so the following comments are not coloured by language difficulties ... Security staff are unfriendly. While there is supposed to be free wifi in the departure lounge, I couldn't figure out how to use it. A gate agent told me there wasn't any free wifi, all the time standing beside a sign that said there was. I was also singled out for a spot check of my hand luggage right in the jetway. The unfriendly lady doing that search so disarranged my stuff that I couldn't find my Kindle when I got on the plane, so was without my planned reading material."

Positiv: "Hello, I checked in a dog in Detroit, The crew was great once they found out they can accept a dog. At first they were saying no because of partner with delta. I explain I booked the dog already and give all my required documents. Once in Mexico the documents were given to the authorities and when the crew in Detroit made copies they kept the originals and gave me the copies and they made me pay 1800 pesos for a vet to come and sign the paper.. I spoke to aeromexico in Mexico City and they said they are sorry but nothing can be done... This cause me my traveling money and 3 hours of very stressful times for me and my dog who had to stay in the box the whole time. Robin Martin"
