Surely this flight deserves a jet bridge from the actual terminal gate. This caused us to wait 1 hour in San Antonio for our bags to show up on the next Houston flight!"

Impressive. In contrast, we missed a SFO-Frankfurt-Nairobi connection a few months ago due to VERY sloppily organized security clearance there (and no help from Lufthansa). Moral: Don't try for transfer times less than 2+ hours in Frankfurt when coming from the States no matter what United/Lufthansa says!"

The day of the flight our connection flight was delayed we were told someone would escort several of the passengers from Lufthansa to the connection with United no one was there. Several of us ran to where the flight gate was but the plane already left. It turns out other people were also called and turned down United’s offer. So the question is since our flight was purposely overbooked did United take advantage of our situation and just leave and cause all of us great pain and duress with no compensation for all of our inconvenience."

There was no one from United to talk to at the Hamburg Airport, and multiple Lufthansa agents said they had no control over the United flights, and could not contact them either. We weren’t able to get food at the Munich airport because we had to go through a second passport control just before the gate, and there was no food. The automatic snack machine only took Euro coins and not bills or credit cards. Then the crew was a little snippy and unfriendly. Not a great experience overall."

Positiv: "United flight more seat room than LH international flight. Crew much friendlier and more accommodating."
Negativ: "NO ONE sent me the United check in info, so I did not have the flight number. I had to get help in Munich from Passport Control. LH flight from Koeln unfriendly LH crew."

Negativ: "We waited in line to check baggage because it was Lufthansa and got to the front before finding out it was a united flight. No where did it say United check in. Just aggravating."

The screen was very tiny like only half size of the one on Luthansa flight. The food was only so so as well but that was just my personal taste."

The way an airline owner and CEO would want to be represented to the paying customer by a frontline segment of his/her organization. Best UAL/Lufthansa experience ever for me."
Negativ: "The ‘third world’ arrival handling by IAD. Ragged transporters. No intercom service or effort whatsoever to advise pax of apparent problem at main terminal. Turned off transporter engine and left us on the tarmac breathing diminishing air in the module and wondering what was going on. Mobile passport service ‘not working’ at jam-packed immigration. Luggage retrieval frustrated by problems or incompetence and finally located at an undesignated conveyor area. No kudos to IAD. All kudos to Lufthansa/UAL. One Exception was my ‘by chance’ immigration agent who for the first time ever for me at IAD said “welcome home” as he waved me on."

This caused terrible chaos and they did not seem to understand when I tried to explain that going from Bangalore to vasco de gama was domestic. Other than that a pleasant journey."

The streaming was slow and would crash. Seats were uncomfortable. This direct flight is great, but Air India has a lot to work on."

Das Essen ist entsprechend auch mieser als der sonstige Mikrowellenkram. Es gab genau 1 deutschsprachigen Film im Bordprogramm."

Negativ: "I didn’t like the seats on the airplane. They weren’t leather or smooth at all. Instead, the seats had orange fabric material on top of them that was very old and worn down. Also the blankets appeared to be reused. I received blankets that were opened from the original packaging. I’ve never road on a plane and experienced this level of discomfort in my life. I normally don’t like to leave bad ratings about companies because the staff were very polite and warm welcoming. I just strongly believe that Air India could use some remodeling for their planes. The level of comfortability is a must for me and I am not booking with this airline again because the seats are so old and snaggy. There were actual cotton balls(lint) on the seats, and I had to place magazines on top of the seat, in order to avoid feeling uncomfortable. The seats looked dirty and felt uncomfortable. And the blankets were old. Honestly, I would’ve preferred impolite staff, rather than experiencing discomfort for about 3 hours. I couldn’t wait to get off as I was going to my destination. And I absolutely dreaded the plane ride back as I was coming from my destination. Air India needs leather, or smooth fake leather seats for comfortability. Also, they need brand new unopened blankets to give to their guest, along with plastic cups as well. I hope this helps, and I hope Air India improves on this for the future."

Negativ: "Entertainment was not working. Old plane, Bathrooms were not clean and soap dispenser was not working. I had to wait for a long time for special assistance."

Negativ: "We had a 6 hour layover in Mumbai before 1:30am flight. They took us to a secured zone next to the boarding gate around 12:30am. The flight was delayed - no announcement, no water, no toilet facilities in that zone. Including kids and aged people -everyone in distress and Air India had no concern. Flight took off two hours late and not even some drink was offered. Very poor quality food. I called crew members for some help and they didn't show up. In the recess area also no food or drink was kept. We were kept hungry, thirsty and dissatisfied. Can't be worse than this."

Positiv: "Leider hatte unser Flug große Verspätung, wir hatten große Sorge dass wir unseren Anschlussflug in Mumbai nach Goa nicht bekommen würden, vor allem ob der Wechsel unsererseits Gepäcks in dieser kurzen Zeit klappen würde. Aber der Anschlussflieger hatte auf die Passagiere extra gewartet."

We were waiting at preboarding area and then gone through another security scan where they take away water bottle that was bought after the 1st security check. There was an issue of some kind and no one mentioned anything to anyone until people started complaining. We waited over 90 minutes past the departure time at the 2ns boarding area. There is no water nor bathrooms. What a way to treat your customers."
