Amazing place to stay

The staff is very very nice and helpful and the room 221 has the best bed we had in the last 3 weeks traveling in Greece!

The breakfast is very complete however some ingredients such as the sausages and the meat could be of better quality. The rest was delicious!

Very spacious and comfortable room! We had a very lovely stay at the hotel. It was a ten-minute walk from centre town and away from the tourists. The restaurant is pretty good

We were expecting a hot breakfast, but instead, it was actually put in our fridge prior to check-in (with ham, cheese, juice, instant coffee and some bread). But I guess that is the downside for "having breakfast in your room". But it turned out to be okay.

Well situated at the heart of Oia, very close to featured sites.

Quite expensive for a solo traveller

Location was perfect, right at the end of the busy road of Oia. Lots of shops and restaurants, yet in a very quiet area. Staffs were very helpful and accommodating. Good for a family vacation

The location was very good, just at the start of the main area of Oia. Quiet and peaceful at night. Plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes in the surroundings. The common areas were nice with a cozy and agreable courtyard at the entrance. The area of the swimming pool was also good with a bar and the possibility of having free towels. The room was very big with a full equiped kitchen area. The batroom was also good and toiletries were provided. Everything was clean. There was an individual terrace at the entrance of our room with a table and chairs. Parking place in the hotel included. Good breakfast served in a very nice place outside the main entrance. This hotel is a great option for staying in Oia and enjoy good service and a good location without spending a fortune. Good value for an overprice area like Oia. Friendly and kind staff. There is a restaurant in the hotel but the whole area and the village are plenty of them.

Breakfast is not buffet option but there are different choices and you can enjoy different things that the typical coffee and toast offered in other places without buffet. Also you can select the amount of the choosen things and the quality was fine.

The location was perfect

Amazing location where you can walk to everything. Very nice and quiet small hotel. They are super friendly and will help you get a good understanding of the island. They helped us with a bag full of laundry when we needed it for a very reasonable price. The breakfast selection is simple but great.

Mattress is a bit uncomfortable, so sleeping wasn’t great

Excellent pool with free towels and drinking water. Food and drink could be purchased. Location was excellent just across the road from the caldera view. Very friendly & helpful staff. Recommend if you don't want to pay the high prices but still be in the best location.

Cozy hotel, walking distance to central Oia

Bed a bit too soft for my liking.

We loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - especially Marcos, the pool manager, who was so attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The pool itself is lovely and we spent much of our time relaxing there. The Laokasti is in an ideal location, just across the road from the Caldera, and our studio apartment overlooked the pool and the Aegean sea.

Nothing really - except the bedside lampshades in our room are in dire need of replacing and the cutlery could do with re-stocking, but we were too relaxed to bother mentioning it!

Rooms very true to the island vibe -- white walls, blue doors and windows -- picturesque with a good pool and large clean rooms. Staff were very nice, breakfast good, and restaurant very good and reasonable (for Santorini). Grilled Sardines are excellent. Right next to local bus stop.

Just outside Oia, which was fine for us, but not as scenic as some hotels. Also, if you're main goal is to hangout at the beach, Oia not the best location for that as most beaches are elsewhere on island. Taxis very expensive. Local busses work pretty well. Aegean Taxi provides cheaper transfer for port or airport than shuttle offered by hotel. Port is crazy. Laokasti Villas expensive for location but everything in Santorini is expensive.

Nothing stands out as worth mentioning but like the hotel itself, we are laid back and upbeat.

Our stay at Laokasti Villas was really comfortable, the staff is really friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and the breakfast included is worth the money . Would recommend this property to others for stay as it is on the Main Street of Oia and also it doesn’t put a hole in your pocket if you are on a budget holiday....

Service was superb, the staff were so helpful and friendly with everything! We arrived early and needed to change for a wedding and they let us check in early. The breakfast was great and I loved the outdoor patio. The location is close to the Main Street of Oia and a few minutes walk from the buses. However it was very quiet at night even with being close to the road.

Sadly no view of the Caldera from the room but great value!

The most charming, welcoming, friendly and marvelous staff! They were always there to help or answer any questions or requests. Also the food at the restaurant was out of this world! I highly recommend it! Also the location is amazing because it allows you to enjoy Oia without being in the middle of all the crowded streets with tourists.

Friendly staff. Provided with plenty of information on checkin and whenever we needed. Breakfast was gorgeous, yogurt, cereal and eggs. Great location. Just at the end of the main Oia street. Right beside bus stop. Drinks were cheaper in hotel than on the main street.

The staff is super co-operative and excellent. Food is excellent too. Lot of options for breakfast. Spacious and clean rooms very well in the budget. Loved it.

This hotel is all about hospitality! From the 1st moment they have picked us up till the last when we had still few hours left and stayed by the pool. We had the basic room by the road and the restaurant, 1st I was afraid of the noise but after 9pm all was very quiet. AC in the room worked very well. The restaurant is amazing and they even deliver food to your room or your private terrace. Breakfast is a good value for money, everywhere else in Oia you pay the double. Pool area is nice and clean, an amazing relaxation point when you want to have a break from busy Oia.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The location was the best as right at the start of the walking path in Oia and the bus out front if you need. Also if do the hike fro Thira to Oia you end up right in front of this hotel. It was more than perfect. We loved everything about it. Convenient to everything.

We liked everything

The staff are extremely friendly. The hotel is located next to a church and near the Main Street of Oia, easy to walk around for sightseeing. We also tried the restaurant. It is very good and I would say the price is cheap in Oia.

The bathroom is a bit old fashion.

The behavior of the hotel stuff. They showed their affection to my boy. Always smiling. Very helpful. Specially Poppy and Marcus were amazing. Our flight delayed and we reached one hour late at the hotel. Poppy came to greet us till the parking place. His boy blassi is also so cute. Breakfast was also very nice. We will visit again.

The staff is super nice!! I would like to express my gratitude to Popi, Marcus, Yanes, and 3 other staff i encounter during my stay in Laokasti. They are exceptionally friendly and helpful i feel like home and safe through out my stay. I lost the room key as i believe i missplaced it, but the staff manage to find it and keep it for me.. oh ya! And the restaurant is to die for! They serve traditional Greek Cuisine and very delicious! More than that, there is minimarket next to the villa and i love the fresh picked orange from the store!

Everyone is hotel is nice person. Markos is very nice, and I like the food in the restaurant. He is my friend! The facilities is new and I saw many people in the island repair the hotel during the winter time, maybe that's the reason.

The manager goes above what is expected to make her guests feel like welcome friends. She truly wants visitors to love Santorini as much as it is obvious that she does. I am recommending Laokasti Villas to my family and friends. I will definitely be staying here again. I especially was happy with the private parking for my rental car.

We love this hotel, the staff was very friendly and helpful! The pool looked great but in late October it was a bit cold for us otherwise I would’ve jumped in. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious and nicely decorated. Having a kitchen was a plus as well. But the most amazing thing here was the restaurant! Food was unbelievable good!

Very good restaurant on site. The chef uses fresh herbs and clearly has high standards and good experience. We normally don't eat in our hotel but ate once because of a 20% discount given at check in then ate there 4 more times. Very impressed.

Water in the pool was too cold to get in. Mid October is probably a bit late in the season and I'm sure it would be excellent in Summer.

We decided last min that we needed to stay one night in Oia. We were met at the ferry by Marcus and he carried our huge bags and drove us to out hotel. The room was perfect and so close to shops and restaurants. Everyone was so nice and helpful and we loved our time in this town.

The location is perfect. Right at the main parade of shops and restaurants, and not affected by any noise. On arrival I was warmly greeted and felt very welcome with lots of friendly advice and information. I enjoyed going to reception each day to share places visited. I ate lunch at the Villas and it was very tasty.

The room was good ,very clean and towels and bedding changed every day. Location was walking distance to all shops ,supermarkets and the local bakery and of course bars and restaurants. Laokasti restaurant is one to try as well serving up lovely traditional Greek food . The pool area is one of the best in Oia well looked after with fresh towels and a great bar area with Marko the pool man looking after all your needs nothing is any trouble for this guy !!
