Excellent relaxing holiday venue

This is the second time we have stayed here. The location is superb as are the facilities within the superior apartments (Catrineta). They are very spacious, have lots of privacy and the outdoor space is excellent. Views are beautiful. The Algar Seco Parque is ideally placed at the start/end of the Boardwalk or for the more adventurous there are cliff top walks to Benagil (about 1 - 1 1/2 hours at a steady pace). The apartments have a very homely feel with a lots of individual decoration and a wood burning stove for the cooler months. Cleaning is excellent and on a daily basis. (not Thu or Sun).

Kitchen is very well equipped with a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, oven etc. but lacks a washing machine. and iron.

Hotel in very nice localization, very nice and helpful stuff. Recommend for families. Regards for all the Stuff.

I’ve booked there three times now because they are so kind and helpful, always answer questions, they are multilingual, plus the cleaning service is amazing.

Excellent view and the garden. Sitting in front of fireplace in the evening was so-o-o cozy. Spacious, comfortable, clean, well-equipped apartment. Welcoming and caring staff. Boardwalk along the cliffs with stunning views. A lot of supermarkets (Intermarche, Aldi, Pingo Doce, Apolonia) within 5-minute drive.

It was a bit cold in December, but one can use the air conditioner in heating mode, or light the fireplace (recommended, firewood is provided). There is a heater in the bathroom too.

The location is fabulous and it is a beautiful complex with excellent facilities. The apartment was very clean and spacious with a stunning view. We arrived late and Bruno was still waiting to show us around. We were really taken with the place and they provided our baby with a cot and made him very welcome too. The bistro nedt to the pool is fantastic too. The staff there are some of the best I have ever experienced!

There should be an option for double beds. The beds were also very hard and pillows were not too comfortable. Housekeeping was good but the housekeeping office was directly below our apartment and they were very loud from 8.30am onwards. It slightly ruined our relaxing morning cuppa soaking up the glorious view when there were people shouting nearby. This is minor though.

Another amazing stay at our favourite resort in Portugal. Picture perfect.

Very smart looking quite unique

Tv in English did not work and staff did not fix it, ok if you’re French or German channels everywhere

+ Staff was very kind and helpful in the Reception, the Bistro or the cleaning ladies. + All apartments have really see view. + Nice cliff formations 50meters away +/- You have to walk a bit to the closest beach. But the beaches around are breathtaking. Best to come by rental car and explore them and the region.

- The lunch selection of the Bistro is not that great

The bed was really not comfortable, both of us adults had back pain

The place was excellent, spotlessly clean and rooms were cleaned nearly everyday. The views were amazing from our balcony and also from the pool and bistro area. The accommodation was very spacious and not like other places we have been to before and it kept in line with the Portuguese theme but with modern comforts. All the staff at the Algar Seco Parque were very hospitable from the reception staff to the gardeners, the cleaners, the maintenance guys and the bistro staff. Thank you to all the staff especially Zara and Sheila! We will be back!!!!

Fabulous location with amazing sea views, very friendly welcome from Bruno. Gorgeous traditional tiles in bathroom and kitchen. Sparkling clean, quiet, fabulous pool area. Did not want to leave!

Everything was great!

We liked everything about Algar Seco Parque - The apartment was wonderful and everything we expected. The location is fantastic and we couldn't have asked for more - a truly wonderful and relaxing holiday!!

Lovely apartments with excellent pool. Excellent location.

The staff is excellent. We dealt with at least 4-5 different people and they were all professional, helpful, and courteous. The room is a good size with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked. The place is very clean - probably one of the cleanest properties I've ever stayed at. The hotel is about a 5min walk to the beach. We tried different beaches in the area because they are so close. But the beach close to the hotel is great. The property is close to the coast so you can spend quite a bit of time walking along it on the rock structures. I would highly recommend taking a tour of the caves and ask the hotel staff for the best time of day - low tide is best as you get to see all the beaches within the caves. The hotel is also close to smaller grocery stores but I would avoid these and take a 5min drive to the inter marche which is great. We also ate at the Earth restaurant 3 times which is a 30 second walk from the property. I would return next time in the algarve

everything was great. I would recommend asking for a room on the 2nd floor as you get a better view of the sea. Every room has a sea view but it is slightly obstructed on the first floor

Beautiful location, stunning scenery, beautiful pool, lovely gardens, tranquil and had all the amenities we wanted from a hotel (cleaning, great concierge, restaurant, pool, laundry service) with the privacy and well thought-out benefits of an apartment for our stay.

Wow everything - beautiful spacious apartment with most amazing views of the Algor coast. Staff lovely and food in restaurant top class. Spacious pool area with lots of loungers and shade if you prefer

Brilliant customer service.

The little touches made the holiday extra special, from a bottle of fizz and card for my Mum on her birthday, to the fresh flowers in the rooms on arrival.

The view is spectacular. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and clean . All of the staff throughout the Algar Seco are friendly and helpful. It is perfectly situated so that all other amenities are easily accessible.

Very friendly, helpful, multilingual staff. We were in the T1 Catrineta, a beautiful apartment with a large private patio and wonderful sea views. It couldn't have been any better. We were within a very short walk of the town, with lots of shops & restaurants very close by. We especially loved a little tapas & wine restaurant Le Cro on the Rua Farol. If you like good food, do not miss it. The Earth Cafe is a wonderful breakfast & lunch cafe just a short walk away. The apartment is also very close to the wonderful boardwalk along the sea. The sunrise is worth getting up early for and the sunset absolutely beautiful.

The beds are not as comfortable as I am used to, perhaps a little hard. But I still slept very well and found the experience very relaxing.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, Very relaxing and quiet yet within 10 mins walk of restaurants and shops. All the staff were very helpful, and we couldn’t have wished for anymore.

Location: perfect. Character of the bungalow: Portuguese style. vew, terraces , size of the propety (we booked two bedroom bungalow). Little touches such as shopping bag, cool box, kitchen supplies ...

Electric cooker takes ages to get hot (ceramic would be better) and my mattress was too hard for me. But that wasn't major.

We stayed in a T1 Bugalow,it was lovely.Elevated with an amazing sea view. We plan to return next August 2018 for 10 days. Also dinner at the Bistro on 2 occasions was excellent. Thankyou Algar ...

This is not the property's fault- but important to note- mosquito's come out at night! So enjoy your patio views during the day, but close up at night so you don't get chomped on.

Everything, the bungalow we stayed in was superb, comfortable,clean and has fabulous views. The Staff are excellent, so friendly and helpful
