Recht guenstig, Internet free of charge Etwas abseits, lange wege in die city
good reception, attentive staff, nice garden setting for dinner, ideal location in the business district of Riyadh
Romm desing Resturant Car parking It is 4 stars not 5 as it was shown in booking.com
The Hotel is well located and the staff are excellent. The hotel is clean and has nice touches souch as the pantry etc The food during table service was not as good as the buffet and is overpriced.
Cleanliness, staff was nice, hotel driver was flexible, room service food was good Shower was not hot Window was broken. It would not lock and therefore the wind noise was constant. Bed was too soft. I had to keep moving around to get out of the spot that I would sink into
The hotel staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and somewhat larger when compared to the Marriott in the same city. The less expensive rooms do not have a view - the more expensive are higher up and have a view of Olaya street. There are laundry facilities on the first floor which is good and breakfast is complimentary. TVs have been upgraded to the LCD models and there is free underground parking (I happened to rent a car). Don't expect any luxury - this is a strictly business hotel and the travelers that stay are mostly businessmen Check-in can take time - they don't have a separate line for Hilton Honors members - if you are behind an airline crew, then it takes forever!!. Also only one lift goes to the basement (parking).
The outside noise was in room , not good isolated windows.Other things are nice and OK
Restaurant buffet Noise of AC in my room 110
Attentiveness of the staff was very impressive. Hotel facilities generally very good. Room comfortable and clean. Food plentiful, varied and reasonable quality.
free internet and the cafe machine in the looby , LCD tv and new
Very comfortable room and excellent location.
Quiet location. Accessibility to ring roads and close to airport Negative value for money. The rate is too high comparing to same level hotels vs. provided services, luxury and elegance.
The hotel is located quite near Riyadh airport, therefore its location is interesting if you plan to stay or two days. Otherwise, it might be advisable to go somewhere near Olaya. The rooms are big, they have a gym and a small swimming pool. The restaurant is all right. However, I think that there might be better hotels than this one for a similar price. I got really upset with the prices. The offer in booking was 600 rial + 15% taxes, breakfast included. Mercure sent me a reservation confirmation excluding breakfast from the rate. I complained and Booking reacted very fast. I thought that the problem was solved but upon arrival (at midnight) they gave me the entrance paper to sign showing 690 rial + 15% taxes. I complained and they said they just forgot to exclude the "15%" taxes part. When they gave me the final invoice, they charged again 690 rial + 15% taxes. I showed again the reservation with booking but they kept me waiting around 15 minutes. Finally everything was solved but it looked like they did not want to accept the price by booking.
Great location, away from the Riyadh traffic congestion area, and nearby Garnata mall Took too long to check out. Restaurant for breakfast was poorly serviced and has very limited day light and made us feel like being in a cave! Very bad start to the day!
very quite hotel the price given by Booking is more than the price that is given by the hotel offer. the hottel were offeering a price that 300 less than Booking offer.
Free internet, Location Room service is really bad. It is not up to the level of 4 stars hotel. Small rooms. No internal laundry so no urgent service can be provided.
Room was cvery comfortable I will stay again, location next to a carrfour hypermarket and shopping center very nice.As close as it is possible for an Airport hotel in Riyadh. Services changes were added to invoice, dispite being included in price, regret i was given the oppertunity too check invoice before credit card charge but left early morning so wasn't fully alert resulting in 15% overcharging!
Location is good for airport, that is all. Expensive and poor internet connections.
Proximity to the Airport Room comfort which is well below a 5 star standard,
The room is big, especially the bed is extraodinarily huge. The bathroom looks clean even though the hotel is not a new one. Just the price is quite high maybe because of not a corporate price.
The room was not maintained properly especially the bathroom which had the shower water tap handle to come out while pulling it gently, the switching knob did not work so the cold water came directly on my head. The shampoo is very cheap quality & the bath towels are small & not suitable.
Rooms were good and staff were helpful A little tired inside and internet access was laborious - staff had to come and set you up with a code etc. In many hotels it's free.
Friendly staff and very helpful. We enjoyed very much our family dinner at the pool side. I stayed in the executive floor and we enjoyed it too. The drop off area is very limited. The street is so narrow and it's a two-way road and I didn't like that because you get stuck when leaving to your appointment and that can be frustrating. Another comment, the pool is very clean and well maintained but the chains around the pool is not removed so you have to step over it and no one to give you towels and no life guard on duty.
Hotel furniture is very old, food was bad, satff was not friendly, location is in a midle of computor and electronic shops that make it very dificult for the taxi to reach the hotel,
Professionality of staff Low quality of food served in the restaurant
Good location, good facilities, ideal for business in Riyadh
This hotel has two buildings. One very Old & One very new. They want to sell rooms in the old building like in the new one. When u reserve you should be aware in which Bldg is your reservation. I booked myself the highest rate and they were trying to send me to the old Bldg.
Location Poor service. I repeatedly asked for internet connection that never materialised. Complaints to the desk or the operator went unheeded. I asked to speak to the manager. This wa ignored.
The location is very good. The room looks old and a bit cheap.
the hotel location guest room service
Good comfortable hotel close to ministries. A couple of good restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance Breakfast is expensive. Lousy coffee!
The hotel staff is not hospitable
Excellent hotel, in a very good location, friendly staff, excellent and efficient service, nice design Like most hotels in Riyadh, the Riyadh Palace Hotel has become a bit expensive in recent years.
It should be more environmentaly frindly place, especially the amout of flush water used in the bathroom.
The staff is very friendly and very helpful The room I was in needed some repaires, the wardrobe door doesn't close, the toilet doesn't flush that will and sink needs some touch up.
Very poor food selection in the hotel restaurant
