This is flying business class. Swiss begins to feel like a low cost"

Getränke wurden später auch noch gereicht."

"Zunächst wird bei der Lufthansa eine gegenderte Drohung ausgesprochen, nämlich, wenn die Gäste die Maske abnehmen sollten und sich den Anweisungen der Crew widersetzen sollten, würden die polizeilichen Organe am Bestimmungsort informiert. Das bringt schon mal "gute Laune" in die trotz 9 Mrd. Steuerzahlerstütze unveränderte Kabine. Die sieht dann auch so aus, als ob sie seit der letzten Stilllegung wegen Corona aus Kostengründen nicht mehr gereinigt wurde. Die Businessclass ist ohnehin eine Zumutung, nämlich die gleiche Bestuhlung, wie in Economy, nur mit einem leeren Sitzplatz dazwischen. Lufthansa sollte sich einmal ein Beispiel an Turkish Airlines nehmen, die die Zeit des Lockdowns genutzt hat, um für die Gäste ein Upgrade in Ausstattung und Verpflegung zu organisieren, die ihresgleichen sucht, aber bei der Lufthansa sicher nicht findet."

"I'm not really sure what the difference is between Economy and Premium Economy on these long-haul flights, especially when the plan isn't very full and people in Economy can lie down across an entire row. The seats in Premium Economy are a bit bigger, but you can't recline or lie down and I'm pretty sure we get the same food options as regular economy. You get a little goodie bag that you don't really need. Also, there is really no point upgrading to business class on the short flights with Lufthansa. The seat size is the same as the rest of the plane. So, you're paying $50 or so for a pretty small snack/meal and a curtain between you."

Leider gab es in der Eco nur ein Glas Wasser, was diesmal aber nicht kundgetan wurde (oder ich habe geschlafen und hab das nicht gehört). Danach war aber auch keine Motivation mehr vorhanden die ausgegeben Plastikbecher anzusammeln. Man sollte die einfach im Netz des Vordersitzes reinstecken. Naja ...."

One guy in particular, a tall greying man evoked the worst stereotypes of brutal secret policemen. Perhaps he formerly worked for Stasi or he was having testosterone problems. Das Essen war für eine Businessclass und einen mehr als 2 stündigen Flug eine echte Zumutung. Kalte und geschmacklose Vorspeise."

Your so called Muslim meals are not suitable for kids!! There is no such thing as a Muslim meal either. It’s simply called Halal otherwise then everyone else’s meals should be called Christian or Jewish meals etc."

Positiv: "I flew in the A380 bulkhead at row 50 from Munich to Hong Kong. Have flown premium economy with Lufthansa before, it was no different from before. The service is efficient. Entertainment was fine and had an interesting selection in their world cinema section."
Negativ: "A pretty standard experience and nothing which makes you feel special. Other airlines might offer an upgraded meal in premium economy or a special cocktail, but not on Lufthansa."

Negativ: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Negativ: "For the whole journey I had a small child kicking, knocking, tapping behind me. Kept waking me up also nearly ten hours of whining. I was genuinely uneasy and uncomfortable for the whole trip. I think there should be a designated child with adult area as I really don’t think this is acceptable. It is stressful enough traveling for 30+ hours this really is not welcome."

Positiv: "The aircraft was great. A bit wobbly on take off and landing, but overall spacious and comfortable seating. The seats had many position options which was amazing. Meal service tableware was clean and pleasant to use. Food was also great. Also a very wide selection of entertainment options! Also, good flying from the pilot’s crew. Flight was on time."
Negativ: "The servicing crew in the business cabin was inexperienced and unrefined. The flight attendants seemed to just want to “get it over with” with questions like “are you done?” The attendants wanted to take our drink order as soon as we got in without giving us a chance to settle into our seats and kept hovering over us until I had to ask her to give us a couple of minutes. The airline did not stock enough snack and ran out mid flight. We had to wait for the next meal service which was not fun. I ended up getting a sweet drink just to get by. Internet, which was paid, was so slow that I got tired of watching it trying to load the pages and gave up. Eventually, the connection completely stalled even though I still had over an hour remaining of the 4 hour package. I used maybe an hour of the total purchase. Total waste because I couldn’t get any work done. Overall, I did not think this was an experience worth a business class ticket."

Positiv: "Das Flugpersonal war freundlich und verbindlich. Die einzige Ansage aus dem Cockpit war eine Kurzansage: 20 Sek und zwar 20 Minuten vor Landung. Das hat sich überheblich angefühlt. Ist Piloten und Copiloten bewusst, wer deren Gehalt zahlt?!"

Positiv: "Sehr freundliches Flugpersonal, hoher Comfort auch in der Economy Class, Vegane Essensoption war sehr gut"

Negativ: "1. The comfort in economy class was insulting and horrible. I am 6'3", 175lbs and was trapped in one uncompromisingly uncomfortable position for 8+ hours. Torture is a word that comes to mind. If I were a smaller sized person, 5'8" or less, perhaps this may be acceptable, but for anyone over 6'. forget it. You must pay loads extra to be given a respectable seat. I am hopeful that I don't develop a blood clot from this flight. This lack of room is a seriously dangerous situation for many people on long-distance flights. 2. The seat recline feature added further insult to the mix. Once airborne, the lady in the seat in front of me sent her seat into what was left of any personal space or legroom I had. The video screen on the setback in front of me was literally 6" from my face now. Several people who were also of taller size complained, one was so adamant about retaining his space that he fought verbally with the lady in front of him, and eventually a stewardess had to be called. My wife complained on my behalf, and was able to get the lady in front of me to reposition her seat, but eventually, I noticed it somehow found its way back to recline again. I know Lufthansa is not alone with this predicament, but something HAS TO BE DONE to fix this huge problem with air travel. 3. The food on the flight to Germany was way better than the return trip. The meal consisted of mushy carrots, greasy mashed potato-like side, and a piece of OK chicken smothered in 'Murican BBQ sauce. I was insulted. Lufthansa had been better than this in the past. Oh, and the dinner roll was so dry and crumbly, it could have been weeks old. The snack before landing was called pizza, but I wouldn't call it that It was a bunch of tasteless dough, a little bit of tomato like sauce and a smattering of cheese. I wish Lufthansa would stick to what they do best; German-influenced food. Be true to who you are. Most people I know love German food, and I always have looked forward to LH food selections. Not now."

Positiv: "We had a very short connection as a result of a long delay in our flight from Athens to Munich. Lufthansa held the gate open and helped us get on board tom our flight to Chicago. The plane was big, roomy and the seats were comfortable. There were adequate number of toilets so people didn't have to stand in long lines. The crew was very friendly in an efficient way, not like in Asian airlines where the passenger gets coddled. I particularly appreciated the serving of water/juices every so often to stay hydrated."
Negativ: "They could have made the transfer easier by having a trolley to move us instead of having us run through the airport. I am 70 and have had both knees replaced. While I can walk just fine, running was very difficult."

Negativ: "The connecting flight departed before the first flight landed. Then I was given the wrong information of gate departure by airport personnel. After running like crazy to find this gate for departure, the plane had already departed before we even landed. There wasn’t anyone around to help, and finally I found an airport worker who gave me the same incorrect information. She was as perplexed as was I. Finally, she directed me to the information booth where I was booked in a flight the next day. The food voucher was insufficient to cover dinner, i had to pay out of my pocket but I was frugal given the financial situation. The taxi service personnel were rude and it took a long time to taxi me to the hotel where I am unable to sleep because I have an early morning g departure. All in all, between the airport delays getting me to the hotel, lack of proper food and treatment by personnel, I am exhausted and lost sleep in the process."

Most passengers were sitting in the waiting area expecting the boarding call to be announced on that obvious gate, while they started boarding on another gate around the corner. And it was not Croatia Airlines staff, but some airport personnel. Before landing, flight attendants let some passenger have luggage on the floor in front of the seat in the exit row, which does nit comply with the safety standards. Likewise, some passengers were already using cellular signal before landing, which is another lack of precaution. It us true that flight attendants cannot see whether each and every passenger obeys safety measures, but they should better pass through the aisle and check it rather than grabbing their own seat so early, eapecially when the flight was only half-booked."

We made it because we ran as much as we could and arrived breathless and sweaty. Poor customer service!"

Negativ: "There was clearly no plan in place for when a flight is cancelled, how to handle all the passengers' needs quickly and efficiently once the decision was made by the airline to cancel that flight. There was not enough staff when they were needed. There should be emergency staff who can come in for such a problem. Meal vouchers, though spoke of, did not get given out. Even if they were, we could not have used them as we were stuck in a very long and very slowly moving line. Over 3+ hours of waiting, no one from the airline came around to offer even water. They did not try to make sure the the lines stayed a single line - too many people tried to cheat and cut in raising anger, making already frustrated and stressful situation even more so."

Positiv: "The crew worked above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and happy. Our seats were comfortable, the food was actually edible and quite delicious! I had one of my favorite flights with Lufthansa!"

Negativ: "My boyfriend and I were required to gate check our carry-on luggage which required us to go through customs in Paris to get to our bag and re-enter security for our connecting international flight. I am unsure why this was the case as other passengers brought the same size luggage. Very upsetting."

Negativ: "Crew forced me to change my upgraded comfort seat to accommodate a 12 year old who they knew was going to be airsick. So I spent the first half of the flight next to a vomiting girl. Only after I asked to file a complaint, they allowed me one of two empty seats in premium. Terrible customer service."

Negativ: "Flug kommt Mitten in der Nacht in Paris an. Da die Verbindung zum Anschlussgate noch geschlossen war, mussten wir formal nach Frankreich einreisen um zum Gate nach München zu kommen. Dort darf man sich im ungeheiztem Gate noch mindestens 2 Stunden die Zeit vetreiben."

Negativ: "Air France delayed our JFK to CDG flight. That caused us to miss our connection flight afterwards from CDG to MUC. We got a later flight luckily but one of our bags got lost and is still currently lost!!!"

Positiv: "SFO - CDG (Air France) was a great journey in all respects. But the one major reason for that was, the middle seat was empty. I was so fresh after the journey, would definitely recommend this flight to anyone."
Negativ: "The flight was delayed by atleast 45 mins and therefore had to rush at the CDG airport to catch the next flight."

Positiv: "Während des Nachtflugs war es ziemlich kalt in der Kabine. Aber es gab eine Decke und ein Kissen. Das war gut! Leider wenig Deutsche Inhalte auf den Entertainment Bildschirmen am Vordersitz. Sonst alles super!"
