Negativ: The flight was delayed as we were waiting for documents required for our entry to the UK - surely these should have been ready in advance? Perhaps a taste of things to come if (when) we sadly leave the EU. Same poor sandwiches.

Negativ: Seats too small. We were unable to choose seats ourselves; it got spit to of a computer. Flight was delayed about 50 minutes. Food had a lot of pasta, for some reason, we were not able to choose food. Would have chosen vegetarian.

Negativ: Food was some of the worst airline food I’ve had. I had the vegetarian options and the vegetables were very bland and over cooked. I usually like airplane food.

Negativ: Der Sitzabstand ist eine Katastrophe und auf keinem Fall 31inch wie es auf Seatguru steht und wird mich davon abhalten jemals wieder Edelweiss zu fliegen, jeder Passagier über 170cm wird leiden.

Negativ: We arrived more than a half hour late, and considering this was about 4 am, this was significant. The guy in the middle seat was tall and had to speard his legs intruding on my space.

Positiv: The entertainment was adequate and there were multiple snacks/meals. The bread rolls were warm. And they provided towelettes for wiping hands after meals.
Negativ: The crew could have been more considerate, and the Economy seats were even tighter than usual! There was no leg room and even without the person in front of me reclining, the seat back was hitting my knees. The passenger next to me had longer legs and was much worse off. The food was very poor.
Negativ: Check in is insanely long. Terminal 1 at JFK as usually Absolutely terrible. Line to go thru TSA is exacting 40 min at 12 am Midnight. We pay so much (in the price of our ticket) to be treated as cattle !!!

Negativ: Flight was cancelled because the operational issues. No information or help given. Their airport procedures and practices make it extraordinarily challenging and stressful for passengers. We’ll never fly with them again.

Negativ: Our flight attendant was not very helpful at all. Our flight was delayed 40 mins. When in Moscow went to help desk we were told we missed our connection and had to wait 8 hours until next flight. Turns out we didn't miss it, it was delayed 2 hours so we could have been on it, they screwed us.

Positiv: The crew ask some of us to help seating a family group together. No objection. Then they went out of their way to make the trip more enjoyable for us... even offering a drink of Champagne wine (the true one, not some substitute)... Departed almost on time, arrived a few minutes early...
Negativ: Surprised one flight that from what it looked to be, once flight took off a older couple came out of the cockpit are and took a seat in business class. I thought I had seen someone in civilian clothes setting in a area right behind the pilots chair. They did return to cockpit area near end of flight

Negativ: I have chosen the seats and paid extra for those seats but got assigned to different seats. The seats for both to Shanghai and Vancouver were all the way to the back, very disappointed.
Negativ: The crew is always nice on China Eastern. They seem to be late a lot of the time. We arrived almost 1 hour late. The business lounge is TERRIBLE. Get something to eat in the airport, not in the lounge.
