Clean, location, great staff, awesome rooftop bar
I could ever every conversation in next room. Room was tiny.
Ambiance, food, staff, vibe...all set the stage for a relaxing few days for my husband and me. The workout facility lacks in equipment and smells like the kitchen so, an official relationship w the gym on the same block would make my stay perfect. We found a ping pong table in a conference room..silly as it sounds, that 1/2 was a highland of our getaway. I wonder if a hotel Rec room will now be on my hotel checklist. I will never voluntarily stay anywhere else in Chicago! Simply the best for location (we aren't Mi Ave people) and overall city charm!
Very fun location near great restaurants. Fun roof top venue and coffee shop onsite.
Love the park view rooms at Christmas overlooking the Lincoln Park Zoo. Love the coffee shop and the restaurant appeared to be very nice. In a wonderful location at a very reasonable price. Just all around very nice. We had a wonderful time. Lobby was decorated beautifully.
Closet in room was not big enough with that cart inside of it. Put that card as a bedside table with an electric outlet next to it for the coffee and it would be perfect. Wanted more TV channels, HGTV, etc.
In Town for one night - great location and the staff was excellent. Loved the Roof Top Bar.
Staff was extremely nice & helpful
Could hear a lot of outside traffic from cars & people walking by on our 2nd floor level. We also didn't get our room serviced (bed made or change of towels)
decor is, in my opinion, a nightmare - trendy/eclectic but an overall mess rooms are tiny and also cheesy in design upstairs roof bar is great if you want a super loud clubby atmosphere. Would have been so much nicer without a DJ - let's leave that to Vegas.
Great hotel. Great staff and the roof top bar was amazing.
The neighborhood and the adjacent coffee bar. The Hotel Lincoln itself is a mess.
Although the place has a cool, funky vibe it already looks rundown. For the 5 nights that we were there the roof top bar was not open to guests because they say the elevator was broken however they were able to open for 2 private parties. The shower curtain rests 6 inches above the floor so the bathroom floods every time you use the shower. The cleaning staff did not replace bath mat or coffee. I had to ask every morning. The hotel doesn't even leave a bottle of water in the room for you. Half of the guys at the front desk were extremely helpful. The other half came off as rude or misinformed. Trying to get a straight answer regarding the roof top bar was near impossible. I would not recommend this place.
The roof top lounge is lovely and the location of the hotel is very good. We liked having two bathrooms in the junior suite.
The room was very small, even for a junior suite. The heating system was blowing directly on the bed, making it quite uncomfortable. Bathrooms were very small. Probably wouldn't stay here again.
Great location & view. Friendly desk staff and concierge / valet.
Poor noise insulation.
Good Lincoln Park location. Good restaurant.
Too Crowded. Long lines to wait for a slow elevator fo get to your floor. Ice machines broken on several floors. Rooms are tiny and the bathroom even smaller.
Staff is very friendly and responsive. Accommodations are spacious and well maintained though somewhat dated.
Friendly staff. Location was outstanding. Tons to do in close vicinity.
Rooms are quite small. Elevators are quite slow. Cafe is quite expensive.
Comfortable, but did not like that they charged for the internet in the business center
Room was a bit cramped.for the price.
The staff (Fabian) was wonderful and really made us feel welcome.
Very poor lighting in the bathroom - difficult to put on makeup with such poor lighting. This was made doubly hard because there was no place to set out cosmetics. The shelf around the mirror is not deep enough to hold many items. The rim around the sink is not wide enough to use. The bathroom is small and so it is difficult to bring my bag in and avoid stepping on it. 'Had to use the toilet seat to set some of my cosmetics on. Husband disliked bathroom because he is larger and had difficulty moving in the shower. Bathtub did not drain shower water.
