A very clean, upscale and modern hotel right on the riverfront. The Top Deck roof top bar is a great place to hang out and unwind after a day of walking the historic district. Look out over the city or watch the huge cargo ships passing through. You are located above river street with a bunch of neat little stores and just a few blocks away from City Market where there is always something going on. I'd highly recommend this place Room was a little smaller than I expected but frankly didn't spend a whole lot of time in there. Everything else was great.
Love the location, fantastic to walk around beautiful historic downtown. Right on River Street. Felt very safe. The bathrooms are very nice and such a nice size, much bigger that most that are the size of a small closet. The floor was not very clean, like it had not been mopped. I would also maybe suggest another hotel if you are traveling with children. The rooftop bar is great, but you also have to contend with lots of drunks. I would not like to expose my children to the language and the fact that most people riding the elevator are seriously drunk!
The staff was great, the room was even better, one of the best hotels I have stayed in! The river view and the night life around was also very nice! Valet parking was the only option for 25. per night, but the staff there was very nice also.
Location; bathroom No guest amenities; no coffee or newspapers in lobby; no fridge, bad a/c ; bad pillows; poor selection of tv channels; cramped room size. Nowhere to sit comfortably.
We had a room directly underneath the lobby/elevator area. All we could hear constantly were footsteps and people walking around. It is terrible that this is even a room that the hotel would put people in. It seems obvious that good hotel design would utilize this space for other hotel amenities/uses rather than a room that people have to sleep in (or be kept awake in).

The receptionist was wonderful. We had accidentally booked the wrong date. She was more Han accommodating and even upgraded our room since it was our first family vacation! She took time and printed out restaurant recommendations and a city map.
Even though there was lots of pets at the hotel it was kept very clean. Wine social hour was very nice. Pool was not heated.
Great location, hip atmosphere, comfy beds. Seems like the staff was a bit immature or possibly new working in customer service. Check in was very "relaxed", bartender not able to help w/ wine selection, hostess made us call our own petty cab & find our own plastic cups for togo drinks. Nothing major, small courtesies like these would be expected in a place like this.
Off course the location is great. staff are very friendly and helpful. The happy hour at the hotel is the best. They provide finger food and wine for free and it provides a great opportunity to exchange some information with other guests. They also have free bikes to rent which is awesome given that the closest place we saw that we could rent bikes was at market place. Mattress could have been a bit more comfortable.

I had very high expectations and am a die-hard Kimpton fan, unfortunately, with the exception of the San Francisco hotel this was the only other Kimpton disappointment in the range. I 've tried about 12+ different properties so far.

Loved the hotel decor, comfort and great staff. Rooms were nice and clean. Great 5-5 free wine and appetizers. Great restaurant in lobby but also great food recommendations from the front desk and valet. We checked in and the bathroom sink was broken. However, the staff was quick to fix the problem a d relocated us in 30 seconds.
Free happy hour and coffe everyday. Great location and friendly staff.
Location Location Location NEW Rather expensive for such small rooms and the bar closes early. While modern and beautiful, they completely removed the HISTORY of the hotel that they replaced. The Brice is located in the old MULBERRY property, which was originally built in the old Coca Cola Bottling factory of Savannah. It would have been a nice touch if the Brice had kept some of the old Black and White photos that were in the halls of the old hotel and displayed them, somewhere as a way to tie the new to the history of Savannah. Instead, they completely eradicated the history. The staff is good, but not great. This is supposed to be a five star hotel, and I would rate it four. No coffee pot in the rooms until you ask for it, then its delivered and is great-keurig -why not just put one in each room? That's what I expect in five star hotels and certainly at hotels in this price point range.

Die Angestellten sind großartig. Die Lage ist auch toll. kostenlose Getränke (nicht den Alkohol) waren eine nette Sache. Die Terrasse mit Pool und Feuerstelle ist schön. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder dort übernachten. Housekeeping war in Ordnung, aber hätte ein wenig besser sein können. Haben keine sauberen Handtücher an einem der Tage, die wir dort waren dagelassen. Das Fitnesscenter ist etwas klein.
The staff was really friendly, all over us as far as customer service comes. They could not find our reservation at first, but after 10 minutes it appeared. Then they weren't sure they could get us into 2 queen room, but they eventually found one. I think they were all still learning the system, they had only been open for 2 weeks.
Did some sightseeing Yes, the fact that when we got there they said they were full and didn't have any rooms for us. I specifically booked online and then called and spoke to Alex so he would hold 2 queen rooms for me. We were delayed at least an hour. They eventually put us in rooms since I had all my paperwork but I had to make a point and don't like doing that.

The staff couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. Complimentary wine and cheese social for 2 hours in the evening. Free breakfast in the morning. The room was very comfortable and clean.
Location is great. Free bottle of water is a nice benefit. Social hours and friendly staff. Bed was not very comfortable and seemed to tilt slightly so that your feet were higher than your head.

All the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The front desk staff seemed to show a genuine interest in our day or plans to come, Kelly always mentioned other ideas or have her view of ours. We will definitely be staying here again.
Location is great. Quiet and secluded, but easy walk to city center. Warm and welcoming staff. Very pleasant gathering room and garden courtyard. Guestrooms somewhat small, but comfortable. On your own for on-street metered (during weekdays) parking.
The fact That we are in the flight line of the air base was horrible. So loud. And the sound actually shook the bldg on More than one occasion
Rooms were well kept and comfortable. It had the microwave and refrigerator. However, I would love to have a freezer section for a refrigerator, which was not there at least in my room. Would recommend it. A nice overall family experience. The serving area for breakfast was too crowded and small. It would be nice if they can increase the breakfast area.
Clean and everything worked fine Jets fly close overhead at all hours. It is at the end of an airport runway.
For the money I paid it was a decent hotel. They say there is free hbo and show time which there is and they have hdtv's in the rooms, but the picture quality is worse than my old tube tv from the 80's. There is also a military base nearby so after 9am there are helicopters and planes flying directly overhead which makes it difficult to sleep past 9 if you've had a late night downtown.
It was nice being in a busy commercial area. We were not told of many maintenance projects occurring during our stay. Location right off the end of Army Air field was not mentioned anywhere. One night a giant plane took off right over room very very low every five minutes. While we could not really hear this in the room with the air and tv on....it was very unnerving.
I thought the hotel was fine if you need inexpensive lodging. Easy drive downtown and when we had an issue with the TV someone came up in a few minutes to fix it, Overall the room seemed clean except the floors. It was clear that no one had swept behind the bathroom door or vacuumed by the vanity. Also, the don't have the SEC network.

The staff was so great. We were there for a race, and they did all they could to accommodate us, and went above and beyond in customer service.
You can't beat the location or the omelet chef! He's just awesome. The staff is friendly and professional. The a/c was super noisy. A maintenance man came up immediately and said he has heard quieter buzz saws! 10 minutes later, he fixed it. Problem was, his fix left me with virtually no a/c! Had to ask for new batteries for the t.v. remotes. Housekeeping should check to make sure the remotes work, not the guest. Bathroom fan goes on automatically. Nice feature, but it runs too long. Mainly little, but annoying issues, except the a/c.
Staff helped the best they could but had to change rooms and the AC never got the room below 76 degrees in either room. Location
Staff was amazing, breakfast was wonderful plus they had cheese and and wine and a late night snack in the freezer(ice cream) each night. Some rooms had old carpet that smelled but they were very accommodating when we asked to switch. We then got hard wood floors and it was great.
The Mansion opened right before I left Savannah and I have been wanting to stay there ever since! It definitely did not disappoint. The room had a view of the park and was beautifully appointed (the bathroom was spectacular). The restaurant was as good as remembered and one of my favorites- it has the look and feel people go to the Pink House for but with better food. The entire hotel and restaurant just felt very 'Savannah'- romantic and haunting. The staff was charming and friendly and I especially loved being surrounded on all sides by art! Not much not to like. I wish there was a free parking option (valet was great - friendly and accommodating) but steeply priced for the area (especially as it is their own parking lot right behind the building). Also, have never been to a 4-5 star hotel that did not have free wifi.
The property itself is very cool - chandeliers, marble, velvet furniture, modern art, sculptures everywhere. The location is also great in that you're about a mile or so to the main dining/shopping area. The service here is terrible but I'm under the impression it's terrible everywhere in Savannah, not just here. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it's a southern thing. Nevertheless, we paid 5 star prices to stay here (by southern standards) and expected 5 star service. The staff failed in this area, HARD. Examples: they didn't set up the sparkling wine service we ordered for arrival; they screwed up our room service order (literally, I ordered plain pasta with red sauce and they couldn't understand my order, so I got pasta drenched in butter); we requested a trash can several times before giving up; we had to request more toilet paper, tissues, coffee creamer, stirrers, etc., because housekeeping didn't leave it. Come on. On a side note, the amenities here are really low end. I didn't bring any shower products thinking what they'd provide would be sufficient. I ended up buying some cheap travel size things from CVS because the products here are even worse than drug store quality. This hotel needs to do a better job of staff training if it wants to be a lux hotel. As it stands right now, I've had better service at a Hampton Inn.
This is a true one of a kind boutique hotel. Wonderfully quirky, beautiful architecture and interior design. Well trained and attentive staff. Phenomenal bar and restaurant. So much more wow factor than the newer Kessler properties like the Bohemia brand. My biggest gripe with all 5 star properties (not just Kesslers) is the higher the price point the more they "al a carte" basic services such as parking, internet service, in room amenities, and "resort fees". These surprise upcharges ruin what other wise would be an excellent experience. As a recently retired traveler these charges more often than not discourage me from being a repeat customer. OK, I get paying for parking at say "The Waldorf" in NYC. Most guests don't drive there. But $22/night to park behind the building on their own property at The Mansion is absurd. And $10 for WIFI? Really? Get a grip. We're not all travelling on OP money anymore.
Than mansion itself is stunning. Beautiful decor, art, loved the room. We stayed for a week & our keys had to be replaced 5 times in that week. There were no comps or anything even offered for all of our issues with the room keys. I thought we should have been offered some sort of severance for the problems that we had. For that, I was disappointed. Also the food we ordered from room service was very overpriced & not flavorful. We had a salad & a sandwich, which was $50 & they forgot my dressing. The menu, at least for room service, was unimpressive.
I have lived in Savannah all of my life and am a current New York City transplant. I had recently come home to visit my family and decided to stay at the mansion. The hotel was gorgeous - a mixture of old southern charm and the MET. The staff was also great. Very pleasant and met my every need. I would definitely stay here again if I got another chance
Great location in a great city Concierge was pretty much useless. Couldnt make his computer work and tried to get us to eat only at their bar.

Bed was comfortable. - Great ambiance, quiet neighborhood. - Good WiFi - Close proximity to anything around historic downtown district and River Street. They do have a parking lot if you have a car. - Water pressure was excellent. - Lounge is frequently visited by locals and tours alike. - Experience something on the first night. - Definitely will stay here again and will recommend to friends and family. - Ceiling light tends to shake when there are people walking above but that's a given since its an historical inn.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean and functional. Pretty centrally located and walking distance to anything downtown that you'd want to see or do. The only time we got a cab was to/from the airport and to bonaventure cemetary. The restaurant was good and the bar was a nice hangout at night (bar closes at midnight for some reason). No ghost stories from us. Lots of creaks and noises from the hallway and other rooms, but that's to be expected from a place this old.

Our first anniversary started out very stressful and hectic, this being our first time in Savannah, and our trip being largely unplanned, but this hotel redeemed it, from the moment we walked in the stress melted away, our room was beutiful, bed was super Comfy, couldnt have asked for more from our rooms, and the hubby And i loved the happy hour "reception" at the dinning area. We only stayed one night so i didnt get alot of time to see any other amenities. I only wish that house keeping knocked louder (i thought she was down the hall until she opened our door) and that the pillows hadnt been down (allergies) and i never thought to ask if they had others
I did not like that the hotel charged for parking.
The staff Hotel needs urgent renovation. Now i know why it isn't a relais & chateaux anymore.

the architecture and the breakfast room was not clean enough. Jacuzzi tub was dirty.
