Positiv: The plane was about 3/4 full, so it felt like there was extra room. It was a red-eye flight, easy to sleep and quiet.
Negativ: Be prepared for some pushing and shoving by the other passengers.

Positiv: Crew was good. Seating was great because I had 2 empty seats next to me and was able to sleep much more than ever on long flight to Asia.
Negativ: I had to pay to get seat selection in advance of 48 hours which I have never had to do for a flight. I should have got a warning from Kayak about this. As it is, that was not needed because plenty of empty seats and could have got window seat without paying for advance.

Negativ: Electronic entertainment system appears a bit old. Lacks USB sockets.
Negativ: The baggage of all first class passengers was delayed beyond the time of the later flight .. ridiculous .. also flight delayed as is usual tor all flights in and out of Bangkok. The food on the flight is not appealing .. the front of the seat fell down onto the legs..

Negativ: I was very sick and contagious and asked for a single person hotel room for the night before a connecting flight. It was not accommodated. It would have cost extra 100-200 yuan. Then when we asked for the shuttle to the hotel, the security at the departures level meant we could not exit and be picked up. No one could arrange pick up at arrivals. Instead we paid for a taxi ourselves. Poor service and coordination, especially considering I could barely talk and just badly needed a rest.
Positiv: This leg was continuation of flight that began in Xiamen. Same plane and crew. 787 Dreamliner layout is efficient, generous legroom and recline is better than American carriers. Crew works as team, fast and courteous. Very helpful and professional, Water offered frequently, trash pick up kept cabin neat, bathrooms always clean. Passenger announcements are clear and crisp is English and Chinese.
Negativ: Really, no complaints. More entertainment choices would be appreciated however is not my priority.

Negativ: The 14 hour flight lacked wifi access and there was no sense of importance to investigate by the crew. In an era when downtime is utilized to stay ahead of work, strong wifi is one of the most crucial requirements for me to elect an airline. Even if all else is good, poor wifi is a deal killer.
Positiv: The crew were great and served food timely. The seats were also comfortable and we traveled with infant. The crew was super supportive for parents with infant.
Negativ: dont falsely claim that you have wifi if you cannot connect to satellite. The ground staffs needs training on behavior and how to treat infants.

Negativ: Ontario Airport for international arrival is confusing. I think this has to do with more the airport than the airline...although the airline could have helped too. There is no one to ask questions once you exited the security area. The signage is incorrect for airport shuttle to the parking lots. In order to get to the parking lot, one would need to first take a rental car shuttle to the regular terminal and then change to an airport shuttle.

Positiv: Boarding in this time was quick, flight was delayed by almost 45 minutes but pilot made time and we were only 10 to 15 minutes late landing into Singapore. The only redeeming quality was the nice gentleman next to me who was helpful.

Negativ: Flight was canceled from Newark to Monachium then coming back plane from Krakow was late and I had to spend night in Monacoum . I arrived to Newark on Tuesday instead of Monday horrible trip all together ☹️
Positiv: I hope never to fly Scoot again.
Negativ: Extremely rude and uncaring staff. I hate not being booked through with boarding passes. You have to wait in line at every stop, go through security and wait to get your ongoing boarding pass. The Scoot transfer people in Singapore are the most rude people I've ever met.
Positiv: Loved the tinted windows on the Dreamliner! And the rainbow lights at the end of the flight. Scoot personal were excellant!
Negativ: Things to know: Need to download an app before getting on the flight to get ScootTV. Plane was a little loud.

Negativ: The process to check and pay for a bag at the airport was ridiculous. We waited in line to check the bag, found out that since we hadn't paid for it ahead of time, we could get the bag checked but would need to go stand in a new line to pay for it and could not have the bag tag until this was done. Then the new line only had one agent working all of the people who needed to pay for their bags. When we got to the front, we were asked to pay the bag fee with a credit card and the processing fee in cash. Since we were only connecting in Singapore, of course we did not have cash. She could not process the charge, walked us over to a new desk and a new line where they processed the bag charge without the cash fee (how this wasn't done initially, I have no idea) and finally, we were finished with the check in process an hour later.
Positiv: The departure time was delayed but the crew made every effort to arrive on time. Kudos to the pilots. The cabin crew was excellent.
Negativ: I get that it’s a budget flight, so no frills. I wasn’t expecting bottled water but at least offer some water in a cup. The water bottles being sold was expensive and too small. They encourage us to stay hydrated but not everybody can keep shelling out money for water, and strictly no outside food or drinks. Can they at least allow us to bring water, short flights not so much a problem but long flights, not so good for that strict rule.

Negativ: Check-in was frustrating with split lines, late openings. Could not get boarding pass on kiosk or on website. Kayak is not user-friendly and does not seem to support online check-in. Would not recommend using it to others. Will not use it again.

Negativ: They could have acknowledged my emerald status. They could have upgraded me to premium economy. That’s about all. It was a basic economy seat so not so great. Terrible space under that seat - blocked by video machinery.
Positiv: Entertainment was good quality, and had a good variety of games and movies. The food was also pretty good, and provided pretty good headphones.
Negativ: The plane departed 1 hour late, and arrived 1 hour 15 min late, and we barely made our connection on time. The crew gave full cups of drinks to the Chinese passengers, and half full cups to the people of other races. I was sitting in a row of 4 seats, and the person next to me couldn't get anything, so they asked me to get water for them. I asked for water for me, and tried to ask for water for the person next to me, but the crew member just ignored me. I asked her 6 times, and she just wouldn't pay attention to me, so the guy next to me didn't get water.

Negativ: I could not check in to book my preferred seating because my flight connections was a mixed carrier flight. Website did not tell me what was the issue so I kept trying. Also would have preferred it if I could have checked in online for my emirates routes but that option was not available.
Positiv: Crew was very nice
Negativ: Seat was very uncomfortable (in comparison to the other emirates flights I’ve taken), and the bathroom was very dirty (trash was full and towels were piled up on the sink).
Positiv: For the most part it really was a most excellent flight, especially the Dubai to SF leg where there were SO MANY CHILDREN around [should get a free upgrade just for surviving that] but the flight crew did exceptionally well and remained calm all the way through. Apart from one grumpyish woman on the second flight the majority of crew were exceptional and really went out of their way to serve and help.
Negativ: I slashed my finger fairly painfully on a toilet door while pushing it from the outside to open it on the Dubai to Cape Town flight [again, an upgrade on my home flight which is a bucket list dream would more than make up for that!] which i pointed out to a flight attendant and they took note of it and bandaged me up so it was dealt with well but hopefully that gets sorted out [she said she would write a report] cos it did unfortunately affect the rest of my flight a little... And so many crying babies [thankful for volume control on headphones] but literally that was it - love flying Emirates cos on the whole felt super well treated...
