Negativ: They canceled the flight that I booked from muscat to Manama at 1245 and booked to me at 745 am flight, and they keep me waiting for six hours to catch my flight from Manama to Riyadh, They did not offer me a hotel to stay during the waiting period.

Negativ: The turbulence was the worst I had ever experienced in my life. Granted, I understand nothing can really be done about that but, the captains made little to no effort to inform us when we would be hitting turbulence. All he said was “Crew, take your seats.” People just had to assume we were about to hit turbulence. And gosh was it horrible turbulence. 13 and 1/2 hours and at least 7 incidences of really hard turbulence. I got no sleep at all, cause I was much to afraid to even close my eyes. I wish the capitains could have said something to calm us down. It was frightening.
Positiv: China Airlines have always been consistent in food and service. Consistency is good but the quality is not kept up as well.
Negativ: The quality of food. Maybe the food is okay, the heating up of them tends to be over done.

Negativ: Crew was very rude when giving veg meals. Even though we had confirmed veg meals multiple times with the airline prior to boarding, they still did not know that we had a specially requested Meal. After notifying the crew of this, one member gave us an extra meal. Another extremely rude staff member then proceeded to yell at us for eating meal. This was extremely uncalled for and has severly ruined the reputation of this airline in our eyes. The customer should still be addressed with some common courtesy and not be treated as if they are beneath the crew members, as if we are at fault for the crew's own carelessly stupid mistakes and lack of organization and proper communication

Positiv: Main meal (Singapore noodles) was actually ok.
Negativ: The cabin crew had a very difficult time dealing with the annoying passengers, who were mainly tourists returning from Abu Dhabi. They had a tough job, but it was all very negative and stressful.

Negativ: Everything else. Staff was rude and did not speak English, food was terrible, and the airport was very confusing. We had a 4 hour layover at Xiamen airport and instead of going straight to our gate, they made us go through immigration, then transfer services, then back through immigration. We landed at 5am, the transfer services open at 6, then check in opens at 6:50, but we weren’t allowed to check in until 8am because our flight was at 10am. We basically stood in line without anyone giving clear instructions and waited at different line ups for 1 hour each. Horrible airplane, horrible airport. Never transferring here again.

Negativ: 1. Seat cushion is too thin, resulting in painful butt after 12-14 hrs flight 2. The in-seat screen doesn't tilt, thus when front passenger reclined seat, the screen is right in front of your face (less than 5-inches). You need to crank your neck down to watch any programming which results in neck pain 3. Entertainment and food have much room to improve

Negativ: the inflight staff needs to improve their behaviour in dealing with passengers. Some were quite rude. The aircraft seats were extremely cramped. The food selection was quite poor.
Positiv: Good gluten free bread on Istanbul to Malta leg. Blankets are good as is amenity pack which has all but diasappeared on BA. Good choice of films

Negativ: Check-in was frustrating with split lines, late openings. Could not get boarding pass on kiosk or on website. Kayak is not user-friendly and does not seem to support online check-in. Would not recommend using it to others. Will not use it again.
Positiv: Great connections via CAN to KTM. Comfortable seats, good food, great service. A real value. Highly recommended.

Negativ: I was not able to select my seat and do the online checkin. The flight was delayed therefore I missed my connecting flight to final destination. As result the flight took longer than expected
Positiv: Flight was on time, crew was very professional and worked hard to please the passengers in service and care. Food in business class was really good, and in fact, were generous portions. Surprisingly good choice of movies in entertainment.
Negativ: No sweeteners fondrinks like coffee, just sugar. I would really suggest to China Southern to stock sweeterners for passengers who don’t use sugar.

Negativ: If they have a policy that passengers cant eat food bought outside the aircraft they should make sure that they have variations/choices on their menu. I can only eat fish but they dont have it on their menu so i brought my own food but the crew asked me to stop eating it because it was not allowed. Im hungry and tired and was upset that time.

Negativ: No offer to book my seat assignment during the booking process. A kiosk check-in would be a nice addition.
Negativ: We were given just one very small water about 150ml and told we have to pay if we need more water. Restriction on providing drinking water in Business class seems unfair. Please reconsider
