Negativ: Ground crew was very poor at communication, no one warned us we would need a visa; we spent hours and hours queuing for what could have been sorted out in advance. Communication was terrible. The flight was delayed due to Pakistan closing air space. Turkish rescheduled but no real help in Istanbul.

Positiv: The staff of ANA took superb care of us from the moment we entered the airport (both SEA and NRT); kindness, excellent food (choose the seafood diet, the food is excellent and you get served first!) and helpful directions in English whenever we looked the slightest bit confused. I will always look to fly ANA going forward. oh, and comfortable economy seats; enough room (I am 6'2") and no numb bum.

Negativ: Check in took 1,5 hours, while the S7 who was operating the flight representative was just walking around and disturbing the airport employees which made check in slower. There was no space for the hand luggage inside the plane. Seems that it is too small for such flights. The crew was not nice at all. This is the worst flight experience I have ever had in my life. Flew with S7 around 10 years ago, when they were called Siberia Airways - nothing changed since then.

Negativ: A 3 hour flight was a 25 hour process, bouncing from one place to the next. Nobody knew what they were doing.
Negativ: I couldn't change seats on line I did prepay the baggage, printed the receipt, when I started checking in, they won,t honor their own reciept, they could not find my prepayment, the call center was no helpful, I had to pay again. The checking in agent placed myself and my wife far from each other, and the plane was half-empty

Negativ: Lost a single baggage item, a car seat. Critical for us to leave the airport, and delayed us for over an hour upon arrival. Gave us a loaner car seat that barely fit our child.
