If your offer is not accepted, you keep your seat and are not charged for bidding. I placed a bid for a nicer seat and was informed the day before the flight that my bid was rejected. But when the plane was boarding, I went to the man at the desk and asked if the plane was full. He informed me that it was not, and that I could pay roughly $300 for economy plus, or $1000 for business class. Online, I was ALLOWED to bid $200 for the economy plus seat. If they are going to reject this offer and then have the seat fly empty, they are a bunch of dicks. They had a chance for me to be a happier customer and to make more money. Now they lost both. What was also terrible is that when I family with an infant was moved up a few seats, I suggested to the lady next to me who wanted the newly vacant aisle seat that she ask the flight attendant for it. The flight attendant said it was fine. As the lady sitting next to me went to her her new seat, and old man from a few rows up took it. Another flight attendant had promised it to him. So, now the two of us are crammed, she's pissed that the seat she said she could have she couldn't, and I'm there like "My god, they wouldn't even take my money to let me have a nicer, EMPTY, seat." Poor communication, poorly run. Try another airline."

This is first time and last time I’m gonna fly with SAS. I always fly with KLM , perfect in everything and anyway. NO MORE SAS FOR ME !"

Sitze sind in etwa so gemütlich wie bei Kurzstrecken Billigfliegern - also gar nicht. Das Personal hat durchgehend auf allen 4 Flügen meiner Reise mit Iceland Air auf isländisch vor sich hin getratscht, während dem Flug und auch am Ende zur Verabschiedung, zusätzlich waren die Englischkenntnisse des Bordpersonals meist eher rudimentär. Werbung für einen Stopover in Island bekommt man überall, vor allem innerhalb des Entertainment Programms welches sich nicht einschalten lässt ohne das man einen 5,5 minütigen Werbefilm anschauen muss. teils zieht sich das weiter wenn man einen Film ansehen will. Icelandair hatte uns einen Flug mit 30 Min Umsteigezeit gescheduled - was mich sehr nervös gemacht hat als wir dann Verspätung am Rollfeld hatten und dann noch Bus fahren mussten. Der Anschlussflieger hatte sein Boarding bis kurz vor Abflug geöffnet und wir haben es dann easy geschafft. Man muss auch erwähnen, dass es in Reykjavik mangels Sitzmöglichkeiten einfach ewig lange Schlangen gibt in die man sich einreihen muss. Wenn man auf den günstigen Preis verzichten kann: nie wieder Iceland Air!"

Werbung für einen Stopover in Island bekommt man überall, vor allem innerhalb des Entertainment Programms welches sich nicht einschalten lässt ohne das man einen 5,5 minütigen Werbefilm anschauen muss. teils zieht sich das weiter wenn man einen Film ansehen will. Man muss auch erwähnen, dass es in Reykjavik mangels Sitzmöglichkeiten einfach ewig lange Schlangen gibt in die man sich einreihen muss. Wenn man auf den günstigen Preis verzichten kann: nie wieder Iceland Air!"

Negativ: "Didn't even know there was a ticket of this type. It was a good price, but when I went to check in on the return flight I was charged ~ $95 for a luggage item. Not a bad trick. On the other hand, not very nice either. They also didn't allow to take the guitar on-board due to a short & full flight saying the above part was too small. When I got on however, there was clearly room there. It could have been human error, but still disappointing nonetheless. They said there would be no track so it should safe, which it was, but it was left out in the rain for a minute or two so the soft case was somewhat wet. I don't think any permanent damage occurred."

Once you chek in, they will stated this is the cheapest economy ticket, doesnt allow any baggage, and you have to pay I think around $150 for round trip baggage. End up with just to carry on, wouldnt able to shop in Europe. If you includ baggage flight would be similar to other airline provide baggage and quality services. Huge mistake, customer service located overseas, and dont care about customer."

Negativ: "The boarding experience at KEF wasn't ideal. They have a small queue area to line up before boarding, but it only had room for about 1/8th of the passengers. So then it meant that a lot of people were lined up and crowded around the boarding area, which had very few seats. We were then put on a bus and taken to the plane. It all seemed pretty haphazard. Clearly, not a deal-breaker. But not an ideal final memory of the trip either."

I get to the airport with my 2 bags ready, TAP tells me on large holidays, they only allow 1 bag to be checked to my specific african destination until January 11. And that one bag will cost me $120. They will not let me have the second one. Who does that? How much sense is this supposed to have. I checked with others and they do not do that. Never again they will see me."

Kopfhörer für die Fernseher müssen gekauft werden (2,50 €). Der Verkauf beginnt jedoch erst eine Stunde nach dem Start. Bis dahin kann man sich mit Lippenlesen beschäftigen. Die Kaffeebewirtung wurde ab der Hälfte des Flugzeuges unterbrochen wegen Turbulenzen. Verständlich! Nur wurde der Rest der Passagiere danach nicht mehr bedient. Wer unbedingt Kaffee wollte, konnte einzeln in der Besatzungskabine nachfragen. Die Toiletten müssten bei einem Langstreckenflug unbedingt zwischendurch einmal gereinigt werden."

Then the departure was delayed without any explanation for about 2 hours. The food is not good. The entertainment system does not work. Even they sell the headphones. Little space between seats. Baggage was delivered after two hours!"
