When someone from SAS finally came, I was told I would be escorted through security and most into the plane but then the "manager" or whoever was in charge denied it. The plane did not leave for another our and instead of arguing with the costumers they could have just helped us get on the plane. It was unfair of them to close the check in desks early and on top of that to catch a plane the next day they wanted to charge and exorbitant fee. I Wii never fly SAS again."

Das Abfluggate des Anschlussfluges wurde ca. 3 Stunden vor Abflug bekanntgegeben. Aber aufgrund einer verschlosssen Glastür konnte man erst 25 Minuten (!!!) vor Abflug dort hin gehen. Es kam zu einem großen Stau vor der Tür und der Abflug verspätete sich entsprechend."

Negativ: "Let's see... Refused to check my bag because the flight was "over booked". The plane blew an engine on takeoff and then landed in Shannon, IR (150 miles west of Dublin). Once there, the airline had no idea what to do with us passengers (for 4 hours), eventually deciding to put us on buses back to Dublin. Once back there we were offered stand by flights to London, where we could try to find flights back to the U.S. (again, on stand by). When we finally got on another Aer Lingus flight (3 days later), my wife and I were asked for $80 to check a second bag. When we asked the desk agent to wave the fee because of our 1st flight mishap, we were told "Hey, you lived through it, didn't you?". Avoid this airline"

Negativ: "I booked extra space seats and then they changed the plane and moved us in regular seats. We talked to a person from Air Lingus and he said it happens often but there's nothing to do. on board, the head sets are very old and you could only hear from one ear using the head set provided by Air Lingus. in 2018 ?! seriously !?"

Negativ: "Seats were not cleaned before boarding, when told about it the stewardess just wiped it on the floor. Boarding opened half an hour earlier but the aircraft wasn’t properly cleaned yet - there were life vests on the floor which made me wonder why they were not in the place they should be. Flight attendants didn’t speak a single word of German. Arrived 40 minutes"

Negativ: "The service was really poor. An international flight wee u have to pay for the alcohol, and no cheap either!! The food was mediocre! The plane was outdated. No USB or headphone. Only those offered by the airline and the sky da was awful!! The seats were small and not comfortable! The tv screen wasn't responding to the fingers, had to use the remote!! Everything was not nice at all. The stewardess and steward were not pleasant, it looked like they didn't want to be there or they were bother!! I will never fly again either British or Aer Lingos."

Negativ: "At Frankfurt Main airport the check in counter had initially only one person and the lines were very long. After about 30 minutes they opened 2 more counters. We were waiting at the gate for the bus and the flight time had passed , but no announcement that the flight is delayed. finally we get on the plane and then we get an announcement that we the plane does not have clearance for another hour and half. The entertainment on board is very very old stuff, and shockingly the food is also bad and no vegetarian food."

Negativ: "I had a window seat and felt very crammed. Also, we had to wait close to an hour for our luggage to come through. That was most annoying."

Positiv: "Pre clearance in Dublin flights to US is nice. It's helpful for traveling to/from Ireland as they tend of have the only direct routes from a few US cities."
Negativ: "Food is terrible. The planes are old. No USB on many of their planes (some have been updated but not all) Can't properly use your own headphones with the entertainment, and the headphones they provide are absolutely horrible. But worst of all is how crammed it all is."

Negativ: "Leider waren wir aufgrund des verspäteten Flughafenbuses 'erst' 1 Stunde vor Abflug am Flughafen. Obwohl wir nur mit Hangepäck unterwegs und bereits online eingecheckt waren, war es uns nicht mehr möglich beim Self-checkin die Boardingkarte auszudrucken. Boardingkarte am Handy, wie bei sehr vielen Linien bereits Standard, gab es nicht. Auf die Frage was zu tun sei, verwies man uns auf die lange Schlange bei der Gepäckaufgabe und teilte uns mit, dass es knapp werden würde den Flug zu erreichen... Erst die 3. sehr freundliche Angestellte schickte uns zum Express Check-in und wir waren 25 Minuten vor Abflug beim Boarding. Das hätte man uns auch leichter machen können..."

Positiv: "Über die eingetretene Verzögerung wurde etwas spät, aber immerhin ausreichend informiert. In der Luft konnte ein Teil der Zeit wieder gut gemacht werden."

Positiv: "Es hat alles gestimmt. Der Flug war pünktlich. Trotz Billigfluglinie konnte man in Ruhe schlafen ohne Werbung ertragen zu müssen."

Positiv: "Check in in Dusseldorf was easy, bit they made up for it in Dublin!! In Dublin the check in and information desk of air lingus were awuful. Full of attitude and absolutely no knowledge."

Negativ: "Seats are uncomfortable and arm rest doesn't fully fold back. The airplane wasn't cleaned up after the previous flight so there was a few wads of tissue paper around our seats."
