I lost my $170 hotel room, over $70 for taxis and ended up spending the night on the floor at Schipol. I do not think I'll ever use Kayak again. The travel guarantee is a joke too."

If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

Icelandair hatte uns einen Flug mit 30 Min Umsteigezeit gescheduled - was mich sehr nervös gemacht hat als wir dann Verspätung am Rollfeld hatten und dann noch Bus fahren mussten. Der Anschlussflieger hatte sein Boarding bis kurz vor Abflug geöffnet und wir haben es dann easy geschafft. Man muss auch erwähnen, dass es in Reykjavik mangels Sitzmöglichkeiten einfach ewig lange Schlangen gibt in die man sich einreihen muss. Wenn man auf den günstigen Preis verzichten kann: nie wieder Iceland Air!"

Kayak and Icelandair, will do everything to let everyone know how miserable you made my vacation."

Next thing I know, the crew is on me, asking me questions, trying to get me some help. They found a doctor on the flight and attended to me extremely calmly. They got me a nice seat where Marta checked on me for the rest of the flight, made sure I ate and drank something, got my things from my seat, and overall gave me far more attention than I could have ever asked for. Thanks, Marta! (Please give this woman a raise or a medal or something.)"

Bei einer 10-stündigen Reise eine Zumutung. Getränke Auswahl war mangelhaft, vom angebotenen Sortiment waren einige Getränke nicht verfügbar. Mir wurde im vollen Flugzeug ein Sitz in der letzten Reihe gegeben, dessen Rucklehne nicht verstellbar war. Zusammengenommen war es die schlechteste Erfahrung eines Fluges in den letzten Jahren. Ich werde definitiv nicht mehr mit Icelandair fliegen."

Negativ: "Crowding and standing room only in Reykjavik terminal at the gate with no seating available was very difficult. There were several gates located in one small area very close together and no way to queue up for your particular gate. People were pushing through the crowd from the back to find their gate instead of being able to form an orderly line. If you are elderly or compromised in any way, this can be very stressful and uncomfortable. Our boarding was delayed and it was a miserable experience standing for so long with people pushing past us. Riding the buses and carrying our bags up several stairs to get on the plane was not easy and we were stressed and exhausted by the experience. The seats in this plane were not as comfortable as the flight from Helsinki. The seats were small and not deep enough, and had no foot rests. So the longest part of our flight to Portland was not as comfortable. Riding the bus from our arrival gate and baggage area in Portland and on to the main terminal was difficult. After getting our checked bags though customs and piled onto a cart along with our carry on bags, we had to unload them all into the bus and ride standing up holding on to everything while the driver went a little too fast, making it very hard to stay standing. Again, this makes it very stressful and difficult for anyone who is older or compromised physically. Iceland Air is not a friend of the elderly!"

I got our seat assignments ahead of time but when we got to the airport they did not have a record so my daughter and I sat apart on the flight over. The staff declined to help figure it out. On the flight back my daughter was asked to give up her seat for another person so we didn't sit together again. We did not want to delay the boarding line and the attendant was not going to take no for an answer. Her seat was given to an adult who was traveling with their adult partner."

Negativ: "The KEF airport is way to small for the volume of passengers. Nowhere to sit, very long lines to buy food, boarding slow and painful, needed to go with bus to board. Luggage got wet and partially damaged due to rain at KEF."
