Positiv: The timetable suits my schedule.
Positiv: For a budget airline, the food is excellent as is the service. The seats are on the smallish side but not as bad as some more expensive options.
Positiv: Ground staff is friendly and helpful during baggage check-in. Change of gate is notified via SMS & mail.
Negativ: Air conditioning at departure hall was not working properly. It feels rather humid while waiting for boarding.
Negativ: Worst landing i’ve Ever experienced. But everything else was fine.
Negativ: No movies available for 8hour flight? Got be joking
Positiv: Don’t remember, that’s how much of an impression they made.
Negativ: Doesn’t matter because I won’t be using this airline again.

Positiv: The flight i booked has 2 segments, both by Air Asia. However, when i arrived in KL, i was forced to exit the terminal, having to go thru immigration/custom, end up paying 2 separate luggage fees, lots of hessle. Since i never received Air Asia booking#, i was not able to check in, etc.
Negativ: I will avoid booking this way and for sure avoid booking Air Asia

Negativ: Kosten für nachträglich aufgegebenes Gepäck könnten etwas „freundlicher“ sein. Durch meine Buchung über Opodo gab es keine Möglichkeit, nach der Buchung, vor Flugantritt, noch ein Gepäckstück hinzuzufügen, hier sehe ich Handlungsbedarf!!
Positiv: Quiet Zone well worth the $28. Could do with the crew reminding people it’s a QUIET zone though.
Negativ: Not arriving 2 hours late and having screaming babies in the back for the entire 10 hours
Positiv: Quiet Zone was worth the ¥3500 upgrade!!
Negativ: Mobile or self check in in KIX is sorely needed. No one wants to stand in line for 2 hours to check in, it’s 2019.
Positiv: Very attentive crew

Positiv: The crew were pretty quick to help.
Negativ: The seat was moving of its own accord. I should have paid more for a flatbed. I don’t enjoy the music played at the start and upon takeoff. I wanted to sleep but it was interrupted all the time.
Positiv: Efficient boarding with room in overhead bin. Chips and salsa were great
Negativ: No entertainment or entertainment options on an 8 hour flight. Food choices were too similar.
Positiv: Airport was quick but not because of airline.
Negativ: How is there no WiFi or entertainment on a 8 hour flight? And having to buy water or anything to drink. Will think further about flying them for a longer trip.
Negativ: There is no entertainment, and you have to pay for even water, plus if you want to pay with card it is a $10 minimum....
Operating long haul the same as short haul
Positiv: All set up for reasonably comfortable short haul flight and prices ok at similar to Thai Air
Negativ: Priced the same, but unlike the wonderful Thai Air (my only other long haul experience) my ticket price and 8hr flight didn't include any food (Thai Air had 2 complimentary meals) and no one told us we could pre order and pay for food, so missed out when it was brought round. They charge to rent blankets and pillows (free on TA) and couldn't even help me with a glass of drinking water other than offering to sell me a bottle but at $10 USD as they didn't have any change (TA provide complimentary bottled water plus comp tea & coffee. Think there needs to be clearer info/advice 're refreshments for customers on long flights like this

Negativ: air asia was awful. all they care about is money. over 200$ for baggage checks and then they want you to pay 3$ for a glass of water.
no entertainment either, for a 7 hour flight, some water would have been nice.
Negativ: AirAsia is stepping the game up. Food could be better but the staff are always amazing with some of the biggest and whitest smiles I’ve seen. Thank you.
Negativ: Crew sometimes loud in gallery. . Prefer not too hear their conversations. Service Great. Luggage camber off amazingly fast!
Ok for cheap flat seat
Positiv: Premium flat bed is an old style business class sloping sleeper Affordable, though not cheap
Negativ: Food is very poor Cannot check bags in until 4 hours before flight. Not helpful when transferring from an earlier flight.
Negativ: Seats were very uncomfortable and unevenly spaced out for an overnight flight it wasn’t possible to get comfortable to sleep
Positiv: Flight and staff were great and we landed 50 minutes early!
Negativ: It took an hour to get through the check in line at KIX, we weren’t able to check in online.
Negativ: Had layovers in Malaysia and ended up being charged $145 extra dollars because of a checked baggage (which was supposed to be included in our ticket already)
Osaka to Honolulu
Positiv: Extra charges for luggage, food and entertainment are ridiculous.
Positiv: Crew is very patients
Negativ: Passenger is noisy & very uncooperative it delayed the flight landing!
Air steward and stewardess are so noisy

Negativ: The air steward and stewardess were so noisy throughout the flight. I stood at the last row where it was close to where they sat and toilet. They took non stop and laughed literally loud. can you imagine the other way round - I am chatting loudly in the midnight and they are trying to get some sleep? They just didn't have professional mannerisms and service awareness.
Overpriced and too uncomfortable

Negativ: No legroom, very narrow seating, no meal, expensive and no on board entertainment for a 7 hour flight

Boarding crew on Sydney airport was worst
Negativ: At sydney airport airflot staff was doing boarding for air asia, and they wasted our 1:30 min atleast. I had flight from Syd to delhi, flight was via Kul so staff was asking us again and again for Malaysia visa. Also they didnt gave us Kul to delhi boarding pass. We called air asia senior then she came she allowed to go go on last moment. i told them many time we have transit only at KUL so we dont beed visa, they didnt have knowledge so they dont want to understand. Thanks god senior came and told them to give us boarding pass otherwise we gonna miss the flight. At kul airport also staff asked why u didnt get kul to del boarding from syd. We explained him and he issue boarding

Negativ: My flight was 2 hours late causing me to lose my connection ticket. This, because your crew did not do a proper pre-flight check and notice the emergency lighting was failing. Poor maintenance leads to tragedy and unneeded lateness. Making the cabin 16 degrees for 8 hours may sell rental blankets, but it makes people sick as well. Shame on you.
X for Xcellent flight
Positiv: Took X Air Asia from JAI DPS on flatbed. Excellent!
Negativ: The only problem was the attitude of the air crew when I asked them to help me put my luggage up. I am short - 150cm, no way I can put my carry on without help. It was not heavy, but their face showing dislike. Can’t they see that I am vertically challenged.
Negativ: The terms and conditions say that you are not permitted outside food or drinks, but none are provided. Phones are not permitted and there is no entertainment system in lieu of this.
Great flight to Honolulu
Positiv: Flight boarded a few minutes early and arrived in Honolulu 40 minutes ahead of schedule. I upgraded to the "quiet zone" area which was perfect, very minimal disturbance from the flight crew.
Negativ: The food was pretty bad. Especially when paying $15 for a meal. The portions were small and the rice was kind of dry. Maybe add a dessert to the meal might be worth the $15 price tag.
Positiv: Cost can't be beat, friendly service, reminded me of flights back in the 80's - 90's with no frills. A solid air service that most would find not up to par to their own personal standards. Travelers have been accustomed to getting things as standard over the decades of flying services offered in the past, so not getting them with this airline for free can be frustrating. However, for travelers that are very flexible and don't require much comforts, this airline provides exactly what you need..a cheap flight to your destination.
Negativ: The scheduled times for departure aren't very flexible, the check-in counter on return flight was extremely long even 3 hours in advance of flight departure, plan accordingly. Passengers can be grumpy because they expect more from the airline, not an airline for most who expect comfort and freebies.
Beware of extra charges!!
Negativ: $165usd for two 20kg (50lbs) bags on a 7hr flight for two passengers is ridiculous! Not being able to get free water on a 7hr flight is crazy! I can under short local flights having all these extra charges but long haul flights like most other carriers shld come With at least 1 free checked bag and at least free water or soft drinks on a flight.

Negativ: After boarding flight they took so long to provide food. Kids were literally crying of hunger.
Negativ: They accused me of stealing water.
Noisy environment, poor attitude service crews and bad timing for food
Negativ: I paid extra to sit at the quiet zone only to be disturbed all night by a crying baby. The stewardess are also not friendly and used fierce tone to ask us to turn off our phones. We ordered food for it to be our breakfast before arrival but the food was served at 1am. When asked if I could eat it later since I am really tired and wanted to rest, the stewardess just hush me to eat it now since later light will be off. It would be better if the food is served as breakfast before arrival.
Negativ: We paid for our checked baggage ahead of time but when we checked in they said our payment wasn’t in their system. We ended up having to pay again at the counter and the price was more than double for each bag! 7.5 hr flight and you have to pay for drinks (even water) and meals.
Negativ: Delayed for over 3 hours!
Negativ: No online check in . Seats were so small , you have to pay for water . We had to wait in line for an hour just to get boarding passes and we did not have any checked luggage
Will never use for long-haul again
Positiv: Landing & leaving the plane.
Negativ: Super budget fit out of the plane, having to pay for anything at all (including water!!!). Appalled and disgusted.
Positiv: The staff was very nice and helpful.
Negativ: No food or drinks? What the hell is that? Not even a snack. I've flown with companies all across the world and everyone of them except you offers something free to eat. Also you switched our flights until they were right after one another. We got on a flight at 12 pm right after we ate lunch. We fly for four hours with no food. We get to the terminal and have to run through to catch our next flight so no food. Then fly another two hours with no food and end at 2 am still hungry. Offer something to eat to your customers, don't be a shitty airline.

Negativ: The boarding crew need to be trained on streamlining boarding procedures and how they communicate and interact with passengers. Room for improvement
Negativ: Slow check in, had to pay way too much for checked baggage. No food, snacks or beverages included. Had to pay to rent blankets on their cold planes.

Negativ: I don't understand how paying for checked bags ahead of time would be priced any differently than doing it at the check in counter, but the difference is exorbitant. It's a cheap airline for a reason and they get their money back by charging you for everything, including water during the flight. It's better to pay a little bit more for a real airline where standard things like carry ons, checked bags, water, and drinks come complimentary, especially for long flights.
Positiv: Flight was on time
Negativ: Lack of food online, wasn't made clear when booking that had to pay for a meal. Had to pay 10,000 nepalese ruppes just to get 2 of our small bags on. 15kg in total. That's around £80, very expensive. Tried as much as I could to pay online for baggage but was going around in circles. Felt that for the price of the flight paying and extra £80 for 2 small bags was alot of money.
As expected from low cost airline
