It was a very nice hotel inside and the doormen were very friendly and welcoming; the bed was comfortable, although we didn't care for the feather pillows. The woman at the front desk was slightly condescending based, i'm sure, on our appearance (we didn't get fully dressed until we got ready to leave the hotel for the evening); also, the room was a little smaller than we expected for the price-not at lot of space to move around.
Ambience and location
We left with what appeared to be some sort of bites. After some investigation, we discovered they were bed bug bites. And they turned into very itchy and painful sores. More developed in the next couple of days. We did call so they could exterminate the bed. Frank said he would comp the room. We never asked for it but why say it if you aren't going to do it.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Zahlreiche Attraktionen sind fusslaeufig erreichbar. Das Fruehstueck verdient ein besonderes Lob. Eine klasse Idee sind die Waffeln zum Selberbacken. Der Personal ist sehr aufmerksam.
Die Lage war großartig
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und verfügt über einen großen Parkplatz. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig; beim wiederholten Aufenthalt war das Personal am Empfang besonders aufmerksam. Wir wurden kurz nach Ankunft im Zimmer sogar angerufen, um mitzuteilen, ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit war.

The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to make our trip enjoyable. I would especially like to thank Shelley Maher - she went completly out of her way to help us and make sure we had one of the larger rooms for our anniversary. She even sent me info. on the places nearby that were having a Thanksgiving meal - it is people like Shelley that will make us return and tell everyone to stay at Embassy Suites. We had been approved for an early check-in and were even an hour later than we had asked. However, when we arrived from our 2.5 hour road trip on Thanksgiving the room was still not ready for 2 hours after we had arrived. Being that it was Thanksgiving and everything was closed or booked, there really wasn't anyplace for us to go. It would have been nice if they would have been able to get the room ready a bit sooner.
The Hotel staff are very courteous and helpful. We needed directions and the personnel at the front desk were very obliging, We came to Indy to ride our bikes on the Monon Trail so the location of the Hotel was good, the trail starts on 10th street. It was our second trip to your Hotele but not our last, let your employees know they do a excellent job.
The only part I liked was the staff and location. The room was cold...no heat. 2 lights were out in the room at check in...another was falling out of the ceiling. The view from our room was nice...but the window had face prints all over it n I told my daughter not to touch it. The shower had hair in it at check in. I had to ask for toilet tissue because it was not refilled during cleaning. Everytime we went to the pool we had to ask for more towels...and sometimes they weren't received before we were done swimming. I am a single mom and we were there for 4 days...the staff was very helpful...but the hotel was not at all what I expected.
This was a great hotel; wonderful service with a great downtown location. You're within walking distance of great restaurants, Circle City Mall, Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium. The staff was extremely helpful. We will return again.

Love the tall ceilings and the brick walls We woke up about 1pm to the sound of the music from the bar located next door. This went on until 3am when the bar eventually closed.
Everything. Location was amazing. The suite style room was nice. It wasn't lush as I'm accustomed to. Yet, I couldn't of asked for a friendlier staff and the housekeeping was worth more than money could buy. The hotel even had an officer in lobby during the late hours. Which was comforting. I only have one complaint. The parking garage was 2 blocks away. I felt guilty asking the valet to get the car when I had forgot a few things out of it. So I went without. Also, the $27 a night was a bit much plus tipping. But, the weather was freezing, so okay... Well worth it, I guess. Problem with Priceline... Don't book to early, watch for price changes. I could of saved over $100 if I would of waited or even Just booked through hotel. ( live and learn ) I frequent Indy often, this was my first visit to this hotel. But, I will return. Location is AMAZING. And...now I know true price. You'll not be sorry. The rating for this hotel is way to low.
Atmosphere, Charm (Exposed brick and Original Beams), Friendly and Helpful Staff, Clean
The hotel was located conviently and was nice and clean. We had requested a room opposite to the trains and our room was very close to the loud trains that rolled through all night. We won't risk a nights sleep by not getting our request filled next time.

The decor and everything has been updated very well, but some of the elements of the building remain in disrepair - which to the credit of the Omni, they are working on. It was clean, staff were all nice, and the location was very convenient. It's an old building and there were two issues that arose from that - 1, The elevators were in repair during my three night stay, necessitating either a long wait or a long walk to the opposite wing. Not a biggie, but an inconvenience. Also, 2. the hot water took so long to come on in the shower I wondered if I had even used the handle correctly. It was very slow...but the building is older than dirt, so whattaya gonna do?

Most full service hotels have a very nice look from a distance but up close, are a bit dirty or have out dated bathroom fixtures. It seems like there's always some small disappointment. This place was very nice when we walked in, and was still very nice as we looked closer and settled into our room. It was a great hotel!
Loved the location of hotel. Staff was very helpful- minus the restaurant hostess Rooms were very small, coffee maker disgusting along with staircases and ice machine.
The bed and the towels and the other materials felt luxurious. The room was exceedingly small. The Omni name and the expense did not match the size of the room.
Staff was fine, but someone was let into our room while we where still in there. Not great on that. Housekeeping woke us up at 830 to clean when check out was listed at noon.

Could hear the tvs from both rooms on each side. Could hear each and everything in the hallway. Rooms are extremely small. To high for what you recieve. Would not stay again.

well located, modern, clean, efficient staff. King size bed, while comfortable, needs to be "pillow top" as it is hard, even for a 270lbs man, to enjoy a restful night sleep. These should be standard in your concierge floor. Paying $31.00 for parking. The location does not permit parking on the street. This reservation was at rack rate.... Wi-Fi access, was "free" in the concierge lounge, but a $12.00 charge when in the room. Not too logical.
Very clean and great location. Staff was very accommodating The room service food was absolutely terrible and it took over 45 minutes to "cook" and bring up to our room. Over priced for bad, cheaply made food
Very clean, comfortable, and excellent location for access to convention center. Some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. They were all extremely helpful, available, and always smiling. Parking garage was easy in and out. View from room was beautiful. Long waits for elevators, especially at night. Ice only available on 2nd floor. No refrigerator or microwave in rooms. Wi-fi and parking rates very expensive.
I was staying at the JW for a conference and the accommodations were convenient and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the facility. Great job.
Beautiful hotel with excellent customer service My room was located next to a hospitality room where young people were talking very loud on a Sunday early morning. We were awaken at 5 am due to noisy neighbors.
the hotel decor and staff were great. I paid extra for the "City View" only to be put at the back of the hotel. Also, our room was right beside the elevator. The elevator made a high pitched squeak every time it moved. We were celebrating our 22nd anniversary at the noise was annoying and kept waking us up.
