Positiv: Car had some ware and dents, it ran great and drove fine.
Negativ: The car was filthy when we picked it up. Worse, the shocks were gone, alignment bad, passenger door lock did not work. Car was delivered with no windshield washer fluid. Tires nearly bald. I have NEVER had such a poor experience with any car rental agency anywhere in the world.

Helpful staff at hertz
Positiv: The staff at the hertz counter in Mendoza were very helpful, friendly, and quick.
Negativ: Returning the car was slower than we are used to because you park the car, bring the keys inside, then a clearly walks back outside to check the car. Leave time for this on your return.

Surprise airport tax and quality of vehicles
Negativ: The car was lower quality than expected. There was no power steering and the tires were almost bald. When we returned the car we were surprised by a $31 airport tax that had not been described by kayak or by the rental company until we were trying to drop off the car. I had to force the rental comand any to print me out a receipt for the airport tax.
It was ffine
Positiv: I liked the price a lot. The person at the front desk was very helpful too.
Negativ: I didn't like having to clean the car before turning it in. You get charged extra for turning in a car that is dirty. This includes exterior, interior, and motor.

Positiv: Gracious rental staff, despite working out of a cramped cubbyhole with near zero counter space. Car endured 200km of Mendozas scrappy gravel highway 40 without breakdown or flat. No hardsell on insurance.
Negativ: No power steering made parking and avoiding potholes in Bariloche rather challenging. Car was in need of service and maintenance. Brakes throbbed. Low front tire. Bad rear bearing. RH door lock only worked from inside. Rear child lock faulty. High mileage for a rental car - 42k. Wiper fluid ran out after second day. Car was pretty scratched up.

Negativ: They gave my rental car reservation away because my flight was 4 hours late. They then tried to up-sell me another car (higher class). Not at all happy with this entire experience. I will never book through either of these parties in the future.
