Good value for the money.
Positiv: Everything went as planned for my car rental. The car was clean, gas tank filled and ready to go. I received the information I needed at each end of my trip from the Avis employees.
Positiv: convient location

Negativ: car was delivered very dirty on inside. previous renter laft medication and apparently got sick in the back seat.

Positiv: Vehicle was clean and available on time
Negativ: I was not made aware by Kayak or by Hertz that there was an additional "concession fee recovery" charge equaling $62.35 tacked on to the rental amount. When I asked the agent he said this was because I picked the car up from the airport. If I had picked the car up at another location the fee would not have been applied. I could have just as easily rented this car from another location near by. I believe that both Kayak and Hertz are responsible. The agent also said that if I had booked directly with Hertz instead of going through a third party they would have made me aware. I feel like I have been ripped off. Last time I will use Kayak or Hertz to rent a car.

Negativ: Vehicle's seats very very dirty - luckily this a business trip for just me. I was told they had it detailed but the dirt would not come out. There seemed to be no concern for the condition of the vehicle.
I was told the vehicle had 3/4 tank of gas. When I checked the check out sheet it said the vehicle had a full tank of gas. When I got to the car it had a 1/2 tank. I had to go back inside to have this corrected as no one when out to check the car with me.

Positiv: Even though it was past registered hours, the Hertz employee came in to get us our vehicle, and also upon our return, the employee stayed late to check us back in. Both men were very pleasant and accommodating. Vehicle was clean and drove great.

Best help ever
Positiv: There was no rep to drop off to. However, there was a rep there from Orlando just picking up car seats. He helped me with the entire return process. I was very grateful. I can remember his name. I then maybe Mike. He gave me his card, but I cannot locate it. He should be prased for his above and beyond.

Positiv: I received a very clean, comfortable vehicle and excellent customer service assistance.

Positiv: Was upgraded on a vehicle and it was the best choice I could have made. The system was down when we showed up but it didn't hinder the experience at all. Great service and I would totally rent from them again!
Negativ: Nothing!
Negativ: Glove compartment had sand and sea shells from another renter.
Car Was Dirty
Positiv: Liked the car, Ford Focus was good rental car. No problems with the price. They honored the quoted price.
Negativ: I had no flexibility to shorten the rental period. It would have cost more, even thought it appears I was paying a daily rate. Not a big deal, but would have liked to change it.
The car was dirty, found another renters empty sun glass case in the car. Outside hadn't been washed before giving us the car.
Terrible Service, Only Accept Credit Cards!
Negativ: Literally stranded in Florida and despite booking my car months in advance I was told I could not pay with a debit card OR cash. Credit card only! Would not mind so much as the fact the attendant pretty much didn't care and did nothing to help rectify the situation. I was told to literally go find another car rental service, despite the fact I told the attendant I would be stranded with no help without a car. I had plenty of money in my account, which is why I offered cash, but was denied. thankfully there was a Hertz, who was super helpful and got me a car in minutes with my debit card. Never using Budget again!
Positiv: They followed up to see if I was actually coming to pick it up since they have weird hours of operation.
Negativ: Car had hesitation issues.
Positiv: Quick to get the car and to return, not the car I wanted to rent!
Negativ: The car didn't ride smooth , thought it might stall .
Positiv: Free upgrade after first car smelled like urine.
Negativ: Tried to give me a urine soaked car.

Negativ: I had to return my rental from Hertz and switch to a rental from Budget, I talked to the front desk agent at Budget and she advised me to return my car from Hertz first. The desks were about 10ft away from each other mind you, after the return to Hertz I walked over to Budget and they were closed down because they apparently switched there hours to earlier times on Saturdays (which wasn't stated on the website). So my reservation and me being there did not mean anything to them, they just wanted to get out of there on time and left me stranded in the airport and was forced to rent at top dollar through another company, instead of costing me $41 for a 24 hour rental it cost me $120. I have never been so irritated with a business in my life.
