As someone who doesn’t use credit cards, I was not able to rent a car from Thrifty. I offered a to put 3 times what is required as deposit and was willing to show utility bills and car insurance for payment history. FICO is a joke and so is this debit card policy they have. All this being said, I realize the employees I interacted with don’t make these rules. They did their job very well (there was a very long line and it was the airport location) and were polite and tactful.Bewertet am 28. Juni 2023

At close to midnight on got in a long line only to be told 30 min in that they won’t have cars for most us that night. If we have a hotel we should go there and come back in the morning. Being that I need to get to Portland asap I left the line and rented from Budget.Bewertet am 20. Juni 2023

We had a prepaid, confirmed car rented. They did not have a car for us. They refused to provide us compensation or another car. Very little in the way of explanation, and no apology. They didn’t even want to give us a refund on the spot. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Put our entire vacation in jeopardy. Never again.Bewertet am 16. Juni 2023

Will NEVER RENT FROM THIS SEATTLE LOCATION AGAIN! my assigned pick up time with 12 noon. I get there at 11:30, there’s about 20 people standing in a line. There are two windows for pick up. I get in the back of the line, and I start to hear conversation from others that have been waiting for two hours at this time. By the time I picked up my car, it was 2 o’clock. It was in a parking garage, and it was 90° day. Absolutely will not ever rent from thrifty in Seattle again.Bewertet am 16. Mai 2023
