Positiv: I like that you provide decent cars for a reasonable rate.
Negativ: The car was so dirty. With covid, the fox websites insist that they have put new cleaning standards in place. Well this car clearly hadn't been wiped down. & when we open the hatch back we found cascarones from,Easter???? Wasnt ours but its proof no one has cleaned it.

Positiv: Unfortunately I have nothing to say here.
Negativ: My family was renting a mini van to take a short family vacation. We arrived at open time (6:30am) and we’re told by a rude employee that someone would be there at 7 to help check out the vehicle. That person didn’t arrive until 7:15am. She then took our information and asked where we were traveling to. Apparently Fox rental does not allow you to leave the state, or their car reports as stolen because they are gps tracked. She did tell me that the information was in the fine print of the contract. Since we were planning on leaving the state, we had to walk away from the car. The couple behind us had the exact same problem. Lessons? Read the fine print, I guess. Or go with a better rental company like National.

Positiv: Good value.
Negativ: The pick-up guy in the kiosk wasn't wearing his mask and the same guy checked us in at the drop-off and again, no mask!!!

Negativ: The only issue I had was that I bought the Damage insurance when offered online by Kayak. When checking in, I found out it was just 3rd party insurance from Asurion, not insurance from the car rental company itself. Consequently, I had little more coverage with my $11.00/day Asurion than with my free insurance from my Credit Card. My advice, don't buy the insurance offered online. Wait and buy the insurance (if you want it) directly from the car rental company.

Negativ: Rented a car through 3rd party and reserved an intermediate suv, kia sportage. Showed up at fox, and was told that I reserved a compact suv, jeep compass and it would cost me more to upgrade to what I originally booked

Negativ: Worst company ever! Refused to refund the reservation due to COVID lockdown.

Negativ: The tire had a leak and it became very clear. I had to stop many times and put air in. When I mentioned to the attendant she did not offer any reimbursement.

Negativ: Could of traded up for larger vehicle.

Negativ: I am still trying to remedy the fact I never got the car I rented. I did not have enough on my card linked to my bank instead I tried to use the card I booked the reservation with and it was apparently prepaid and I never got to use the car I paid for
