Negativ:: The bathroom basin clogged a bit, it took quite a while to drain the water every time after I washed my hands. As a person who pay attention to details I also noted the pencil provided in my room had a broken lead. I had no intention to use the pencil at all but I reckon such issue maybe regarded as a cons for some others.

Negativ:: Das Zimmer war sehr klein und man hatte kaum Platz, nicht mal ein Stuhl um Sachen abzulegen. Das Fenster war zum Innenhof, man konnte es nur einen Spalt öffnen und generell war das Zimmer sehr dunkel. Man hat Küchengerüche wahrgenommen und die Lüftung war sehr laut hörbar. Das Zimmer hatte keine Klimaanlage. Man konnte auch sehr laut jeden Schritt auf dem Flur hören.

Ok size room for normal standards, but this is London so compared to what you get in this city, it is enormous. Plus the pool and steam room were a nice bonus to clear the head in the morning.

Negativ:: Das Schlafsofa im Familienzimmer ist sehr unbequem. Man spürt jede einzelne Feder. Erst nach mehrfachen Bitten haben wir ein zusätzliche Decke bekommen - dann ging es. Das Zimmer ist recht eng - London halt. Der Pool ist klein, aber ok zum Ausspannen nach einem langen Reisetag. Die Armaturen im Bad sind nicht einwandfrei, der Abfluss riecht.

Negativ:: Hatten zuerst ein falsches Zimmer und mussten dann umziehen. Als wir das neue Zimmer am nächsten morgen bezogen haben War bis zum Abend das Zusatzbett nicht da. Aber Bach einen kurzen Besuch an der Rezeption war alles bestens.

Negativ:: The WiFi was basically not working at all unless you were in the lobby. The pool had no shallow end so not good for children or short people. The shower in the ladies locker room was broken. The pillows were not comfortable at all. The mattresses are firm which wasn’t good or bad. I wasn’t keen on the mojito my bartender made me either. I would absolutely stay here again but these were the things I didn’t like. I wouldn’t recommend eating at the hotel but the kids menu is good for kids (I have a 20 month old)

Positiv:: Unser Gepäck wurde vor dem Check-in und nach dem Check-out sicher aufbewahrt. Wir hatten ein Dreibett-/Familienzimmer für eine Woche. Das Zimmer war wirklich groß und geräumig - auch das Badezimmer. Das Hotelpersonal war durchgängig sehr freundlich. Dankeschön! Das Hotel selbst ist nur ein paar Gehminuten von der U-Bahn Queensway entfernt. Wenn man etwas länger geht, ist man bei der U-Bahn- und Zugstation Paddington. Dort in der Nähe sind richtig viele Restaurants und Pubs. Der Inder "The Mughal's" und der Italiener "Villa Rosa" sind sehr empfehlenswert. Die Restaurants in dieser Umgebung sind auch etwas günstiger als in der Innenstadt.

Für weitere 5,50 Pfund hat man die Möglichkeit ein erweitertes englisches Frühstück dazuzubuchen. Das warme Frühstück wollten wir aber nicht. Dennoch wäre eine Abwechslung fein gewesen. Eine ganze Woche immer das gleiche Frühstück ist fad.

There is a special person that instructs each guest on which breakfast they are entitled to have and that the hot breakfast is extra. Not very classy... I have a feeling they spend more money doing that and creating a negative vibe, as opposed to letting everyone have some scrambled eggs (how much can they cost?) and a good impression of the hotel.

Nice coffee pod machine in lobby for guests was appreciated. Staff were kind and helpful- yes, if staying in London, I would book again. Easy access to Paddington station- it's a moderate 10-15min walk, but lovely to see the beautiful potted flowers and gorgeous bulidings on our stroll. Metro(underground) and busses also easliy accessable. I found it really expensive for single trips on the Metro, so invest in a Oyster card if staying for more than one day.

Negativ:: Für 2 Personen sind alle Zimmer im 4. Stock so winzig, dass man kaum die Koffer und die Kleidung irgendwo deponieren kann. Kofferöffnung am Bett möglich, sonst nicht. Obwohl wir um "nicht zu kleine Zimmer" gebeten hatten, haben wir das kleinste im 4. Stock erhalten. Leider waren damit die Aufenthalte im Zimmer eher eine Qual.

It’s the perfect location if you want to explore Notting Hill. We stayed here for the second half of our trip and had already seen the city center, Soho, etc.

On a Sunday morning when you people tend to sleep late, a member of staff knocked on my room door at 9.30 to slip the checkout express paper when he could have just slipped it without waking me up. The cushions have a bad smell.

Negativ:: Check-in was unnecessarily slow. Reception desk staff seemed to be allowing random hotel guests (?) to jump the queue ahead of the long line of people waiting to check in. Some of these people had a lot of questions to ask the staff. Not cool.

Negativ:: When I was there, around 10 am there were announcements made over and over again about there’s an emergency and we are required to evacuate. I waited for a while as normally when there is one there would be people coming and checking on the occupants and that time there were none. The announcement did not stop so I decided to evacuate my room which was on 7th floor. I didn’t see anyone evacuating during that time. Upon reaching the ground floor I didn’t see anyone except one guy in a safety vest and hard hat. I asked him, were there a fire drill or real fire? He said yes and I asked where are the rest? Then he led me to an exit which leads to Paddington station. He asked me do you know where you are... I said of course.. Well obviously there’s no drill or fire. No one bothers to inform me. Please inform your customers’ accordingly as I don’t want to evacuate my room unnecessarily especially when I have to go down 7th flights down.

Negativ:: The vent was always on, which I presume is to ventilate the room considering it was on the basement floor. So although it did no bother me, a light sleeper might find it slightly noisy. You can hear the tube from outside when it passes by, and the room shakes a little when it happens, but again it did not bother me.

Negativ:: Dreckiges Zimmer. Könnte sowohl innen als auch außen mal gestrichen werden. W-Lan sehr langsam. Das Personal wirkt müde uns lustlos. Drink an der Bar war in einem schmutzigen Glas. Ich werde nicht wieder hier übernachten.

Negativ:: Zimmer mit Doppelbett war sehr klein. Nicht viel Platz zum Umherlaufen. In Ordnung, wenn man nur zum schlafen im Zimmer ist. Kostenloses WLAN ist langsam, man muss sich jedes Mal wieder einloggen, wenn man zum Hotel zurückkehrt.

Negativ:: Checked in and was met with a queue and also no welcome just a response of do you have ID for the room. We only booked the standard rooms, four of them and they were pretty basic and cramped for a hotel hitting £150plus a night. Wouldn’t stay again. I’d probably use some of the other smaller hotels and save some money. Expectations were higher than what was realised with this hotel. Also got woken up at 7.30 with a maintenance person knocking on next door for what seemed like minutes with no discretion.

It was very claustrophobic. There is a very contrast between the Hall of the hotel that seems very luxuous and the room. Unbelievable in actual times. Just went to the room to sleep every day, we stayed in the Hall the rest of time stayed in hotel. It was not possible to change room; listened other clients also contested some rooms, not know what or what exactly. Our room was 308. We felt discomfortable and thought even to pay and go to another hotel. The other rooms we don’t know how they lol like. Very bad price quality relation.

Positiv:: After my poor experience with my room request change, I met Stefano another front desk staff who was pleasant, offered me water for my room, apologised for the inconvenience etc. It was refreshing.
Negativ:: I got a room on the lower floors, the room smelled stale, was a long walk away from the elevator and when I went to request a change I got attitude from the front desk staff Ana-Maria. I literally wanted to cancel and leave unfortunately as I had booked through booking.com I was told I needed to take that up with them. I asked for a room on a higher floor and was told she would only change my room if I either went back up and got my luggage or waited 30-40 mins for a concierge to help me. I was so upset. I went back up, gor my luggage and came back down. PS why dont they keep extra bottles of water in the room for your use?

My rromate actually booked from 11-15 Sept but she checked out on the 12 Sept due to the room is too small. Not as per in the picture shown. My room is a Female Room for 3 pax but during the last night.....middle of the night, me & another lady from Brazil were awaken when the hostel staff came in to our room & asked whether we mind having a guy to stay in our room....since it was after midnight & both of us are checking out the next morning...we have agreed but if we were to check out later....we will not allow as this room is stated for FEMALE ONLY.

Negativ:: Fast alles. Der Pub drunter ok. Im Aufgang zu den Zimmern schon ungemütlich - dreckiger Teppichboden. Zimmer 5 direkt gegenüber von Dusche u. WC, was ja eigentlich von Vorteil, da nicht, Fenster im Bad ließ sich nicht öffnen und es stank total nach Kloake. Direkt an einer Straßenkreuzung - laut. 3 Bettzimmer - winzig, waren Gott sei Dank nur zu zweit drin. Matratze ok. Paddington als Frau alleine kein Vergnügen.

Positiv:: The location is easy walking distance from Paddington Train Station it was a very reasonable price for a London hotel the price also included full English breakfast. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful we arrived at the hotel early in the morning check in was at 2 pm we asked if we could leave our suitcases and check in later also when we checked out we again asked if we could leave our cases and pick up early evening this was agreed so we spent all day seeing London without the burden of suitcases and as we were going on the London Eye this was a great help as your bags are searched. The breakfast was help yourself buffet style which included the full English, croissant, fruit juice,coffee etc all hot nice way to start your day sightseeing.

Negativ:: I couldn’t get the a/c to work, the receptionist didn’t know the password to the wifi and when they gave it to me, I couldn’t get that to work either. And the shower drain backed up a little. Seem like easy fixes!

Supposed to have a sauna and swimming pool - they were both closed for repair 3. No restaurant. When I arrived looking for an evening meal I was offered a leaflet promoting a local takeaway. 4. Aircon in room not working - had to make do with a portable fan and leaving the window open on a noisy street

Negativ:: The property is in need of a little TLC the walls /carpets need painting/ replacing the hotel looks a little tired it is however very clean and bed linen, towels changed daily I cannot offer criticism on the cleanliness of the hotel just that it needs upgrading. I would stay again when in London but I would make further research on other hotels in the area to compare price and facilities.

Negativ:: Everything. We asked if we could check in early - 12.00 - and were told yes if we paid 25.00 each. Disgusting as the room was obviously ready. When we asked to leave our luggage we were told it was 5.00 each. Never had to pay for this in any hotel we have stayed in. When we went back at 2.00 we were ignored by reception while they filed papers, answered the phone and then attempted to check someone else in. When I asked if we could check in rather exasperated they looked at us as if we were from another planet and asked what we wanted. I said what do you think were standing here for. Room had a misshapen bathroom door, badly hung ripped curtains, a massive stain on carpet and a light above the mirror that would not switch off so we had it on all night and had to put a towel over it. Cistern was broken and moved when you leant against it and sink taps were loose almost hanging off. Darent have a shower. Definitely the worst hotel we have ever stayed in and when we complained they wasnt even bothered

Negativ:: Frühstück sehr schlecht, selbst für englische Verhältnisse. Trocknes Baguette, kein anderes Brot. Nur auf Nachfrage Toast. Kein Rührei nur kalte, hartgekochte Eier. Billigste Marmelade und Saft. Kellner gar nicht ausgebildet. Schienen ungelernte Aushilfskräfte zu sein. Habe früher bereits zweimal (und sehr gerne) im Elisabeth gewohnt und bin entsetzt über die neue Leitung. Schlechtes Personal, keine Investition ins Haus nur noch Ausnutzen der guten Lage. Sehr schade um das Hotel. Buche dort nicht mehr.

Negativ:: Das Hotel wird völlig unprofessionell geführt. Beim Frühstück nicht genug Teller, cafe musste man ständig anfragen da die Kannen leer waren. Kam er dann gab es keine Tassen mehr. Schmutzige Tische. Die Gäste mussten teilweise in der Lobby frühstücken. Als Brot gab es klein geschnittene Baguettes!!
