Positiv:: Everything I was extremely impressed with thier service and how they took care of you They always made you feel special from The moment you stepped in One will always go to a Hotel that will wellcome you back .. remember you , appreciate your stay and give you a better deal everytime you come back .. that is in essence what makes a Great Hotel from a good hotel I have stayed at many hotels in London ..some of the main ones ie landmark etc But I have never been treated to such a high level of service than at Langham Every call was answered with my name and that was there everywhere you went it was very personalized And the most important thing was that you were remembered , appreciated for coming back and given a better deal and Servive for your continued patronage It was an amazing expirience and Langham is the Hotel for us Every depts service was exceptional

Negativ:: Rooms had issues. Although well furnished & comfortable, the first room was above the subway so really disruptive until after midnight, with trains every few minutes, making sleep almost impossible. We asked to be moved & the second room was somewhat below ground level. The windows were set very high, they overlooked the air conditioning unit for the kitchen & therefore lacked any view, let alone natural light. I might stay at the hotel again but only if I could speak to reservations regarding the room.

Negativ:: Als wir abends in der Libary/Bar saßen war es kalt und zugig von der Klimaanlage und von den ständig geöffneten Türen. Somit sehr ungemütlich.

Negativ:: The room was noisy from neighbouring family with children running around shouting . The pillows are not plump enough . At breakfast the buffet was not topped up regularly & when it was the egg & mushrooms were not hot. The spa had run out of Robes & I would suggest a few more than 4 beds around the pool I don’t wish to sound so negative , our first trip to this hotel few years ago was fabulous , hence our return. Most of these problems I am sure wouldn’t occur on future visit

Negativ:: Personal war sehr unaufmerksam und teilweise unfreundlich, für das Zimmer wurde zu viel von der Kreditkarte abgebucht und bis heute nich zurück erstattet. Das Zimmer wurde ohne Aufforderung nicht gemacht obwohl wir von Morgens 7 Uhr bis 16 Uhr unterwegs waren, somit wäre genug Zeit vorhanden gewesen. Beim Checkout wurde ohne zu Fragen 15% als Trinkgeld auf die Rechnung geschlagen und nur auf Aufforderung wurde dies wieder entfernt mit dem unfreundlichen Kommentar dies sei bei ihnen aber üblich. Alles in allem völlig überrissene Preise für den Service der geboten wird. Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel unangemessen da bekommt man besseres geboten für ein Standardzimmer für 790 GBP/Nacht ! Das Frühstück war in Ordnung aber man hatte noch nicht mal den letzten Bissen genommen da wurde einem schon der Teller weggezogen, sehr ungemütliche Atmosphäre und das für 26 GBP/Person. Wir hatten das Gefühl man wolle uns schnell wieder loswerden.

When we checked on booking.com there were rooms available. When we informed them of this, the suites suddenly became available. They’re just after your money all of the time. It’s not about customer service.

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und Fragen und Probleme wurden im Nu gelöst. Außerdem stand einem während des gesamten Aufenthalts ein Concierge zur Verfügung. Auch die Koffer wurden am letzten Tag vor der Abreise ohne Probleme für einige Stunden im Hotel aufbewahrt.

Positiv:: Ein wirklich bequemes Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr angenehm und nach hinten ruhig gelegen. Das Bett einfach schön, die Kissen und die Decken von guter Qualität. Das Bad war mit Dusche und Badewanne ausgestattet. Sauber, fertig und gepflegt. Das Frühstück war nicht von gehobenen Standard, aber völlig okay. Die Lage des Hotels für Erkundungen in jede Richtung gut gelegen. Die Bar zum Absacker am Abend auch okay.

Die Lage des Hotels für Erkundungen in jede Richtung gut gelegen. Die Bar zum Absacker am Abend auch okay.

Negativ:: Majority of the staff are helpful and friendly but there is an area for improvement. For example one male staff of indian decent usually didn’t like to help find solution for any problem and put blame on guest or just avoid responsibility.

Auf dem ganzen Flur waren jeweils nur zwei Toiletten und zwei Duschen vorhanden, was am Morgen zu einem Stau geführt hat. Auch gab es in der Dusche keinerlei Ablagefläche fürs Handtuch, Klamotten etc. Die Matratze war sehr durchgelegen. Insgesamt: ich habe schon in deutlich besseren Hostels übernachtet.

Negativ:: We stayed in an Executive room with access to the Lounge where breakfast was free. And as the old adage goes.... you get what you pay for ! The eggs were inedible and other food seemed stale. No bottles of water / diet soda in the lounge. Over an 8 night stay, we ate there ONCE. There was LOUD renovation noise all day long. The room requires more lighting and the decor seems very dated. Housekeeping needs help - some days they replaced the hand towels, some days they didnt. Some days the room wasnt turned down till past 6 pm. We had an important package delivered to the hotel - left with the Concierge. On checking, they said they had not received it. We followed up the next day and they "found it". Apologized for not delivering it earlier. Overall, the Concierge service is condescending at best.

Rooms are small. Noisy. Lifts cramped and shaking. Corridors dark. Thin line between ye olde quaint and 'old dump. Modern hotels win EVERY TIME. Regret breakfast very poor - Gordon Ramsay would be embaressed with his own restaurant in the mornings.

Negativ:: Die Renovierungsarbeiten dauern noch an. Die Bauarbeiten fanden im Zimmer neben uns tagsüber an einem Wochentag statt. Am Wochenende gab es keine Bauarbeiten und es begann werktags zu einer angemessenen Stunde. Es gibt nur wenige Annehmlichkeiten im Hotel, aber wir wollten sie nicht nutzen. Meine Frau hat nicht so gut geschlafen, da sie ein Konturkissen benötigt und eines war nicht verfügbar.

Positiv:: Hotel was in excellent location and just 5 minutes from either Paddington or Edgware Road. The room was clean and although we stayed in the basement room with no windows (which we knew about, so no surprise there), it was comfy enough. Bathroom size was good and space in general was just good for 2 people. Staff was so nice and smily and helpful.
Negativ:: The vent was always on, which I presume is to ventilate the room considering it was on the basement floor. So although it did no bother me, a light sleeper might find it slightly noisy. You can hear the tube from outside when it passes by, and the room shakes a little when it happens, but again it did not bother me.

Negativ:: I got a room on the lower floors, the room smelled stale, was a long walk away from the elevator and when I went to request a change I got attitude from the front desk staff Ana-Maria. I literally wanted to cancel and leave unfortunately as I had booked through booking.com I was told I needed to take that up with them. I asked for a room on a higher floor and was told she would only change my room if I either went back up and got my luggage or waited 30-40 mins for a concierge to help me. I was so upset. I went back up, gor my luggage and came back down. PS why dont they keep extra bottles of water in the room for your use?

Negativ:: There is no lift & the stairs were narrowed....especially when you have big bags & more than 1 luggage. My rromate actually booked from 11-15 Sept but she checked out on the 12 Sept due to the room is too small. Not as per in the picture shown. My room is a Female Room for 3 pax but during the last night.....middle of the night, me & another lady from Brazil were awaken when the hostel staff came in to our room & asked whether we mind having a guy to stay in our room....since it was after midnight & both of us are checking out the next morning...we have agreed but if we were to check out later....we will not allow as this room is stated for FEMALE ONLY.

Negativ:: Die Zimmer sind sehr eng und es mangelt überall (vor allem im Badezimmer) an Ablageflächen. Dazu wären Lampen an den Betten kein Luxus, ebenso Vorhänge an den Betten für etwas Privatsphäre. Insgesamt für ein bis zwei Nächte OK. Mehr aber auch nicht.

Negativ:: Fast alles. Der Pub drunter ok. Im Aufgang zu den Zimmern schon ungemütlich - dreckiger Teppichboden. Zimmer 5 direkt gegenüber von Dusche u. WC, was ja eigentlich von Vorteil, da nicht, Fenster im Bad ließ sich nicht öffnen und es stank total nach Kloake. Direkt an einer Straßenkreuzung - laut. 3 Bettzimmer - winzig, waren Gott sei Dank nur zu zweit drin. Matratze ok. Paddington als Frau alleine kein Vergnügen.

Negativ:: Wenn man Blöde Leute mit im Zimmer sind. Die Ständig Furzen und andere Geräusche von sich geben dann ist das ziemlich störend beim Schlafen. Dazu war manchmal kein Druck beim Wasser so das dass Duschen ziemlich blöd.

Negativ:: Uncleanliness is an issue. The rooms are slightly tiny for that many beds and yeah don't sleep in the middle bunk. There isn't much space above your head. You just sit up to adjust the bedsheet, get down the bed to go outside or do anything really, you'll just hit your head on the top bunk above you. You just crawl to make small movements whenever you're relaxing in the middle bunk.

Positiv:: The location is brilliant, we were attending a festival in Hyde Park
Negativ:: The room wasn’t ready when we arrived at after 4pm. Then the receptionist told us he didn’t know When the room would be ready, not long hopefully, so we used a friends room to get ready and to leave our luggage as we had dinner plans. When we arrived back at the hotel after 9pm, we were told our room was ready. We went to our room which was clearly under renovation, dirty, unmade bed empty drink cartons and rubbish all over the bathroom floor. We went back to reception and the receptionist was unaware of the filthy room or that it was getting renovated. Room2 on another floor, no air conditioning, broken and when the maintenance guy came he said the hotel was aware but told him to show his face to keep the customer happy. What a diabolical way to treat paying customers. I WON’T BE RECOMMENDING YOUR HOTEL, YOUR ONLY INTERESTED IN MY MONEY NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE- SHAME ON YOU.

Positiv:: - Die Lage ist für ein Shopping Weekend super - Das Bett war sehr bequem
Negativ:: - Das Hotel war früher viel grösser und heute besteht nur noch ein Bruchteil des Hotels, der Empfang ist entsprechend viel kleiner - Beim Check in war die Luft im Zimmer sehr stickig - das Zimmer hatte keine Klimaanlage und das Fenster konnte nur wenig geöffnet werden. - Im Badezimmer waren die Holzmöbel aufgequollen und ein grosser Teil der Fugen waren total verschimmelt, total eklig - der Teppich war fleckig

Positiv:: Die Lage direkt am Marble Arch ist sehr gut. U-Bahn direkt vor Ort.
Negativ:: Frühstück in einer Halle im Keller ohne Tageslicht. Hotel wird renoviert. Zugang über ein Nebengebäude und durch einen unterirdischen Gang ins Hauptgebäude.

Positiv:: Great location if you are attending any event in Hyde Park. Complimentary breakfast: just pastries, fruit and coffee in the lounge. There is no other dining on site, but loads near by. Great staff, all very helpful and welcoming. We had a fantastic room, spacious and we'll equipped. Room was quiet even though we were at the heart of London.
Negativ:: No water bottle refill available on the ground floor (although there was an ice machine). We were given free water in plastic bottles though. I tried to phone the hotel several times the day before our arrival, but was unable to get through.

Negativ:: It is very shabby - not unclean per se, but forlorn and uncared-for. Some of the staff were friendly, but most indifferent. They seemed overworked.

Negativ:: The staff were not welcoming, when I checked out the receptionist didn't not say good morning or good bye, they did not speak to me. When I arrived back after an evening out about 12 30, the receptionist didn't even look up and say good evening. The decorated is badly in need of a lick of paint, very dated and dirty. The mattress on my bed was completely shot, the springs were gone.

Negativ:: The furniture old and in very bad conditions. Scratches on the furnitures, paper on walls broken and dirty, cover of the lamp broken and very dirty. No mini bar in then room and not even a bottle of water. Wi fi very low and not often working. Really not possible to work if you need to.

Negativ:: Zimmer war sehr alt und sollte unbedingt renoviert werden. In dem kleinen Zimmer stand eine große Kühlmaschine, welche sehr laut war. Kleiner Tisch könnte wegen der Maschine nicht benutzt werden Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen. Bett war für 2 Personen zu klein

Negativ:: Das Hotel ist sehr abgewohnt. Nichts ist wirklich defekt, aber sehr verschlissen und die Teppiche grenzwertig. Wenige TV-Kanäle. WC-Lüftung nicht vorhanden oder defekt.
