Positiv:: Breakfast was very nice good selection. Nice aspect on the mezzanine floor not crowded. Nice bar and lounge area after a show for drinks and snacks.

Positiv:: Das Frühstück, kein Buffet, war ganz gut. Wir hatten incl. Frühstück gebucht. Beim Auschecken wollte man mir dann erzählen wir hätten beim Frühstück irgendein Budget überschritten und müssten jetzt mehr bezahlen. Ein böser Blick reichte allerdings und das Ansinnen wurde dann fallengelassen.

Negativ:: Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Selbst das Deluxe Zimmer für 763£ pro Nacht ist absolut zu klein um einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu gewähren. Alles auf engstem Raum, der Schrank so klein, dass nicht mal Bekleidung für 4 Tage hinein passte. Die Zimmertür schließt nicht von alleine (Vorsicht!) Das Zimmer war renoviert, aber die Ausstattung ziemlich billig. Einhebel-Mischbatterie gibt es in England wohl gar nicht? Dusche nur ein müdes Tröpfeln. Von einem Leading Hotel of the World muss man m.E. deutlich mehr erwarten dürfen.

Positiv:: Frühstück a la carte mit intransprarenten Preisen. Kinderauswahl war sehr speziell, und auch nur am Sonntag verfügbar. Frühstück wurde trotz "im Preis inbegriffen" separat verrechnet.

Negativ:: Die Baustelle im Haus wurde bei der Buchung nicht erwähnt. Der Spa-Teil könnte man sich sparen, Pool deutlich zu kalt. Zwischen Ein-Checken und Aus-Checken ging ein Kind verloren, welches dann separat bezahlt werden sollte. Nach längerer Diskussion, hatte der Receptionschef dann ein Einsehen.

Positiv:: Ausgezeichnete Lage direkt neben dem Strand. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, tolles Frühstück, das im Preis inbegriffen und mein Aufenthalt.

Negativ:: Die Zimmer sind etwas klein. Auch nicht viel von einem offenen Lounge warten um oder abhängen, aber begrenzt Platz zu erwarten ist für die Lage.

Positiv:: Wir sind von Heathrow aus angereist und das Hotel liegt in der Nähe der U-Bahn-Haltestelle. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß leicht zu erreichen. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfreich und das Frühstück am Morgen war großartig.

Negativ:: An der 110-Steckdose in unserem Zimmer war ein Stecker eingesteckt, der ihn unbrauchbar machte.

Negativ:: Air con was not working very well the room was too hot Check in 3oclock too late we wanted to go in the room before our show at 2.30 I had emailed ahead to see if we could check in early and when we got there wasn’t ready was told we would get a text and hopefully be before 2.30 no text came went back to the desk and was told it was ready now we had a ticket for our cases and asked if they could be bought up straight away as we wanted to freshen up before show it was now 2 o’clock went up to the room but had to leave before cases got there

Positiv:: The location Was great the staff where amazing We booked a family room for three room was immaculate On the second day of our trip we arrived at the ritz for afternoon tea it was there that I realised I’d picked my room key up mistaking it for my debit card I rang the Waldorf and explained the situation they then arranged for my wallet to be sent over with a member of there staff this was done within the hour outstanding service So grateful to concierge and Lucy they saved the evening thank you so much I definitely will be staying again keep up the good work guys you reall do go the extra mile for your guests Duane hedley x

Negativ:: Das Zimmer war zu dunkel wegen Renovierungsarbeiten.

Positiv:: Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Busse, U-Bahn, Themse, City, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen sehr nahe.

Negativ:: Wir wollten 2 nebeneinanderliegende Zimmer (Familie) mit Verbindungstüre buchen. Bei der Buchung teilte man uns mit, dass man sich darum kümmern würde. Dass es aber im ganzen Hotel überhaupt keine 2 Zimmer mit Verbindungstüre gibt, wurde uns erst nach der Buchung auf telefonische Nachfrage und sehr zögerlich offenbart. Eine kundenfreundliche und offene Kommunikation habe ich anders in Erinnerung. Die Zimmerschlüssel funktionierten am 3.Tag nicht mehr und konnten erst nach mehrere Anläufen wieder funktionsfähig gemacht werden, sehr mühsam. Der Concierge wusste nicht, dass die Busse in Richtung City 50 Meter vom Hotel entfernt eine Haltestelle haben. Das Badezimmer wurde nie sauber geputzt, es lagen jeweils noch Haare am Boden. Das Äussere des Hotels entspricht momentan (August 2019) nicht demjenigen im Prospekt, denn es wird renoviert. Das ganze Haus ist eingerüstet. Das wurde weder bei der Ausschreibung noch bei der Buchung erwähnt und ist somit aus meiner Sicht nicht fair (sh. dazu Kommunikationsverhalten weiter oben): andere würden unter diesen Umständen z.B. einen entsprechenden Preisnachlass oder sonst eine Gefälligkeit gewähren. Es gibt nur 2 Lifte, einer davon für max. 4 Personen. Bei starkem Andrang musste man teilweise lange warten.

Positiv:: Superb hotel just an excellent place to stay. We stayed for my wife’s birthday and the staff were attentive and professional.

Positiv:: Although we only stayed one night and didn’t eat in the hotel, the room was well equipped, comfortable, clean and just right for our brief stay. Could not fault it for our needs.

Positiv:: Das Hotel liegt zentral in der Nähe der Waterloo-Brücke, nur wenige Schritte vom London Eye entfernt. Das Hotel befindet sich in günstiger Lage nahe der U-Bahn-Haltestelle Covent Garden, sodass Sie zwischen Orten in ganz London hin- und herfahren können und sich immer noch in der Nähe des Hotels befinden, um sich zu erholen. Das Zimmer war schön, kleiner als erwartet, aber trotzdem für meinen Aufenthalt geeignet. Wenn Sie direkt bei ihnen buchen, erhalten Sie einen Bonus, wenn Sie proklamierenden Wein und Geld in Ihrem Restaurant genießen.

Negativ:: Nehmen Sie das Frühstück im Wert von £12, wenn Sie einchecken. Es wird teuer, wenn Sie sich mehrere Tage im Hotel frühstücken möchten. Die Kosten decken Sie für Ihren gesamten Aufenthalt ab.

Positiv:: Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal und sehr sauberes Hotel.

Negativ:: Der Fußraum um das Bett herum ist etwas eng.

Positiv:: Gute Lage aber etwas laut in der Nacht. Extrem ungemütlich und ein kleines Bett und Fenster ohne Aussicht.

Positiv:: The bed is very comfortable and the rooms are very clean and nicely decorated.

Negativ:: Walls are thin and I had a noisy neighbour late at night. The lifts are very slow to arrive and generally overcrowded.

Positiv:: Tolle Lage, freundliches Personal

Positiv:: The foyer was magnificent and the staff were helpful.

Negativ:: The first room I was given looked as if it was shoe-horned in and had frosted windows so was more akin to a bathroom. The second room was better but when someone in a nearby room had a shower there was a noise like an earthquake.

Positiv:: Staff is incredibly helpful, even the trainees. There is significant support all around. The hotel itself is stunning. Rooms are immaculate, everything is spot cleaned. It's really a must stay at least once type of place.
