Positiv:: Old Stile nette Leute, gutes Essen

Negativ:: Sehr, sehr kleines Zimmer, das Frühstück braucht mehr Posten

Positiv:: Gute Lage. Historisches Gebäude mit attraktiven öffentlichen Plätzen. Gute Dusche mit entsprechendem Wasserdruck.

Negativ:: Obwohl meine Zimmergebühren voll im Voraus bezahlt waren, bestand der Angestellte an der Rezeption darauf, mir Frühstück zu verkaufen, was ich nicht wollte, und eine Kreditkarte mit einem Gewicht von 50 Pfund pro Tag zu belasten, obwohl ich sagte, dass ich keines der Hotelrestaurants nutzen würde. Es war schwierig, in den Raum zu kommen, weil ein großer Schrank direkt hinter der Tür aufgestellt war und fast die Durchfahrt in und aus dem Raum blockierte.

Positiv:: Ausgezeichnete Lage mit guter Anbindung an die U-Bahn-Stationen Russell Square und Holborn. Viele sehr gute lokale Pubs und Restaurants und nur wenige Minuten vom British Museum entfernt. Mein Zimmer war nach englischem Standard recht groß, mit einem sehr schönen Bad und einem sehr komfortablen Bett. Ein exzellentes Frühstück mit einer guten Auswahl an warmen und kalten Speisen war verfügbar und im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen.

Negativ:: Mein Aufenthalt war kurz, also habe ich keinerlei Probleme bemerkt.

Negativ:: Ausgezeichnete Lage, tolles Personal

Positiv:: Visit was due to a special family event. We mentioned this to the hotel prior to arrival. Staff were exceptional and went out of their way to acknowledge our event. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

Positiv:: By far, one of my favorite hotels in London! Everything about this hotel is unique; its history, the posh interior design, the beautiful palm court and the (Burr and Co) cafe, where I have done some significant creative writtings. Never to mention the amazing staff who went above and beyond to ensure a personalized stay; I still remember my first stay here in January when I came to London to study at the UCL for the first time, the staff surprised me with a beautiful notebook and a pen; by far that was the most genuine thoughtful heartfelt gesture I have ever received from a 5-star Hotel staff! I will be forever a fan of this lovely place!

Negativ:: Rooms are a bit small and breakfast would have been better if it was buffe

Negativ:: The cooked breakfast was very average

Positiv:: It was my 2nd stay. amazing every time. Fancy architecture above of all. Definitely land mark of Russel square. Great room condition, perfect location with kind staffs. I could check in earlier, with almost highest floor with park view.

Negativ:: Hotel brand has changed into Kimton from Principle, I felt their branding and facility are weakened a lot. Amenity became something visitors can’t take out, smart tv was not working, door greeting was not that sincere compare to before.

Positiv:: Das Frühstück habe ich nicht in Anspruch genommen. Die Lage war für meinen Zweck (geschäftlicher Termin) gut.

Positiv:: Herzlcher Empfang, super Service im Palm Court, sehr schönes Bad, Preis Leistung stimmt!!!

Positiv:: Bed was dreamy. Walk in shower had a marble bench in it. Turn down service wonderful.

Positiv:: The staff is great and the renovation has done a good job of preserving the grandeur of the old hotel.

Negativ:: Something lighter than a duvet for the bed, but I know that is the trend with all hotels. Guess they want their guests to roast.

Positiv:: Beautiful common areas, very friendly staff. Rooms well appointed

Negativ:: Good lord the bathroom is SMALL. Was fine for day one, but by day 5 it was driving me bonkers. The door literally hit the toilet the space was so tight. No room for anything and was quite an acrobatic act trying to use that and the shower. Also, room wasn't as clean as it should have been. Slippers had a red stain on them (are they reused?). Same with the paper drink coaster + tea kettle. Clearly used recently, which was concerning. If they missed those simple things, what else is bad?

Positiv:: Beautiful and grand foyer, palm court, bars and building. Recent renovation looks fantastic. Thoughtful extras in huge room. Friendly staff. Very happy to have chosen to stay there and would return or recommend anytime.

Positiv:: The lounge and bar

Positiv:: Tolles Personal, sehr hilfsbereit. Perfekte Lage für mehrere Bahnhöfe.

Negativ:: Kosten.

Positiv:: Es ist nur einen kurzen Fußweg vom Bahnhof entfernt und hat eine großartige Lage. Das Personal ist sehr hilfreich und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war das beste, das ich in Europa während meines dreimonatigen Aufenthalts hatte. Die Badezimmer sind sehr modern und das gesamte Hotel ist sehr sauber.

Negativ:: Das Hotel ist großartig, aber die Betten sind ein wenig fest. An der Rezeption gab es eine Dame, die höflich, aber kalt war. Ansonsten war alles großartig.

Positiv:: Lo recomiendo 100%

Positiv:: Das Bett war unglaublich bequem mit toller Bettwäsche. Das Bad ist perfekt, das Frühstück war super.

Negativ:: Das Auschecken war etwas voll.

Positiv:: Das Personal war immer gerne bereit zu helfen. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und das Zimmer war makellos. Wundervolles Frühstück mit großer Auswahl. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt rundherum genossen.

Positiv:: Breakfast was great! The rooms and corridors are dated and worn. Lumpy mattress, stains on carpet, knocks on furniture and doors. Weird smell in hallways!

Positiv:: Only staff for concerige & resturant good

Negativ:: Unfortunately every time I stayed in the hotel is worse than before, this year I stayed 4 times and every time I find it worse before !! For example:- 1- Upon arrival at 12:30 pm, the reception refused to hand me over to the room. I know check in must be 2 pm but my room ready why not give to me !?! 2 - the reception asked me a visa card (for deposit, I tried to pay cash but refused Im explain to him my point that I can not put the visa card but strongly refused to pay cash and insisted on taking the visa !! 3 - The price for breakfast 21 £ when booking from the restaurant, but when booking from the reception price 18 £ when I decided in the morning to pay through the reception was refused ! I can not pay only when the check that I can not change my mind !! 4 - I had 3 rooms in the hotel and one of them for the disabled I asked her an extra bed was rejected due to of security reason ! (After that the hotel manager enters and solves the problem) 5-Noise noise noise !! The hotel puts DJ in the lobby late at night !! (All people can go to the disco or bar if they want to I dont know why they need annoyed guests by hotel mangment !!

Positiv:: The hotel was great. Short walk to Kings Cross/ St. Pancras. Hotel was very nice and staff were so friendly and helpful.

Positiv:: The main areas are beautiful and opulent, but rooms felt basic. I was also very surprised that the cost did not include breakfast and was an additional £18 person.

Positiv:: Location is great. We stayed with 2 kids. Mrs Cassandre Lebas , guest relations manager Gave us a very warming welcome and highly professional service, taking care all of our needs with patience and a smile

Positiv:: Tolle Lage, klasse Frühstück, sehr freundliches Personal

Positiv:: The staff are approachable and professional. The room is very spacious. The room amenity is well provided. Also good location.

Negativ:: The safe was not working every well. Was not given a floor cloth for 2 days. It will be good to get full cream milk instead of just semi skim.

Positiv:: Lovely clean room with comfortable bed.

Negativ:: Zimmer war um 15.00 Uhr noch nicht gereinigt, obschon wir morgens um 08.30 das Zimmer verlassen hatten. Nach der Reklamation an der Rezeption würde es schnell in Ordnung gebracht.

Negativ:: Had a connecting door with VERY noisy neighbours coming in late including 4.30am Monday morning. Rang reception who partially sorted it out.

Negativ:: I request to be on the fifth floor and i got a room ont the third floor overviewed on a building wall

Negativ:: One staff at reception was unfriendly when i asked her about the access card was not working for lounge. I needed to take tea or breakfast. But rather than helping, she asked me to bring identity card etc. I had no time, so i left the hotel without breakfast. In the evening someone else helped me and urgently checked the card and rectified problem. I am surprised, if card was not working why the staff needed to see once again my passport etc which was in the room and i needed extra time to go to room and bring the passport to show her. when my card already was issued for the room, but had some issue at lounge access.

Positiv:: Great place, great location

Negativ:: The room was little for 3 people

Positiv:: Location. Staff helpful and friendly.

Negativ:: Room for 3 was small and felt cramped for 3 adults. Towels and tea and coffee were supplied for only 2 adults. Couldnt contact reception and house keeping by phone so had to go down to reception to request these.

Positiv:: Everything was excellent by comparison to other venues in London. This is a truly good hotel.

Negativ:: There was a little smell in the room where I stayed at.

Positiv:: The bedroom was clean and tidy, the bathroom was very clean. The girl on the desk was very welcoming and the cleaners were also very friendly.

Negativ:: The bed headboard was worn out. On leaving we noticed the whole floor was being renovated. Therefore I'd imagine the bed would be replaced. All in all though, quite satisfactory.

Positiv:: The bed was comfy

Negativ:: The food we had was really disappointing in the restaurant! My daughter had soup which was really tasteless and watery! She couldn’t have the bread to go with it as we were told it had nuts in, ( she is allergic to nuts) My aubergine dish was quite tasteless. The chips were undercooked. The spinach and green beans were delicious!

Positiv:: Frühstück gut und sehr vielfältig. Lage zur nächsten U-Bahnstation in Ordnung. Generell hat die Anbindung an ÖPNV gepasst. Personal am Empfang und im Restaurant sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Negativ:: Beleuchtung im Zimmer speziell im Eingangsbereich zu wenig. Der Schrank war gar nicht angeleuchtet. Reinigungspersonal sprach kein Englisch! Auf die Frage nach einem 3. Handtuch für unser 3-Bettzimmer kam als Antwort: "No englisch". War eher amüsant als störend.

Positiv:: Um ehrlich zu sein, hat mir gar nichts gefallen. Das Frühstück war okay, nicht gut oder besonders. Man hat mir einen pitschnassen Tisch zugewiesen, der gerade abgewischt worden war. Trocknen hält man offenbar nicht für nötig.Das Personal eher lustlos. Die Auswahl besonders an Wurst oder Käse war extrem überschaubar: zwei Käsestückchen, die es nur verpackt gab.

Negativ:: Für meine Kollegin und für mich hatte man nur noch Zimmer für Menschen mit Behinderung. Extrem unangenehm! Man fühlt sich wie im Altersheim oder im Krankenhaus. Der Teppichboden war dreckig, die Minibar leer. Es roch muffig.

Positiv:: Dass man das Zimmer abdunkeln kann.

Negativ:: Völlig überteuertes Businesshotel, das an Anonymität nicht zu überbieten ist. Frühstückbuffet rudimentär. Hellhörige Zimmertüren.

Positiv:: Marena (Server im Restaurant) hustete wirklich und besorgte gute Laune, obwohl sie sehr beschäftigt war. Das Personal bot auch sehr guten Service. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut ausgestattet und lecker.

Negativ:: Sehr schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Zimmer war recht beengt, unbeholfen und laut (obwohl die Rezeption sagte, dass es die ruhige Seite des Hotels war). Sitzgelegenheiten im Zimmer und im gesamten Gemeinschaftsbereich des Hotels sind alt und unbequem. Ich werde nicht zurückkehren.

Negativ:: Conference Hotel mit winzig Flure, schlechte Aussicht. Ich habe mich nicht luxuriös. Überteuert

Positiv:: Großartige Lage - und es war sehr nah am King's Cross, was ein großer Grund war, diese letzte Minute zu buchen. Das Zimmer ist klein, aber genau der erforderliche Platz. Schöner Platz und sehr komfortabel.

Negativ:: Wäre großartig, wenn das Hotel USB-Steckdosen als Ersatz für Stecker und Adapter zum Laden von technischen Geräten hätte.

Positiv:: Wonderful breakfast, helpful staff

Negativ:: The room was terrible. It was badly designed and very difficult to stay in. The bathroom was not only badly designed but dangerous to use. The bath was too high and almost impossible to get in and out of for a shower. There were inexplicably several completely unnecessary steps along the corridor which were difficult to manoveur a suitcase over and no staff to help bring up bags or take you to your room. The check in staff member wrote our room number so badly in our key folder that we went to the wrong room and had to go all the way back down to reception to get clarification for the room number. In the room the television didn't work properly and therr was no information about how to use the facilities. I had to guess how to call housekeeping cause although there was a card next to the phone there was no number on it. The room was designed so there was only one major blinding overhead light - no lamps or reading lights - so when one of us wanted to sleep the other had to sit in complete darkness. Add to that even in the day we had to have the blinds drawn because the windows looked out on a filthy alley with several drunkards leering up at the windows so we were always gloomy or over lit. There was no attempt to soundproof the windows and we were kept up most of the night by the constant loudspeaker from Warren street station announcing it was closed or closing or evacuating.. Plus all the police and ambulance sirens. It was all small irritations but considering how expensive this hotel was it all added up to a very poor stay. When we checked out no one even asked us how our stay was or if everything was OK.. Cause honestly they clearly didn't care.

Positiv:: The staff was very nice and courteous, and the property was clean. The English Breakfast was very big, and provided many options, including vegetarian options, which was nice. Check in and check out were quick and efficient.

Negativ:: The room was small. I knew that going in. It's just good to keep that in mind. While it was comfortable and, for one traveler, fine, it was still very small.

Positiv:: Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Obwohl wir am Morgen breits um 10 Uhr im Hotel ankamen, konnten wir gleich ein Zimmer beziehen! Die Zimmer sind nicht riesig aber völlig ausreichend! Die Fenster sind gut isoliert, so das man vom Strassenlärm kaum etwas mitbekommt! Es gibt eine Steckleiste mit 2 USB Anschlüssen, einer Europäischen Steckdose und zwei UK Stecker, was super war! Auch die Auswahl an Fernsehsendern ist enorm! Das Frühstücksbuffet war klein aber sehr fein, so das jeder etwas finden sollte das er mag! Das Personal wer sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit! Uns hat es wirklich sehr gefallen, wir kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank!

Positiv:: Excellent location short walk from Euston. Really great staff. Room massive and huge comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent well organized and hot buffet. Smoked salmon and scrambled egg recommended. Coffee and pan au chocolate to follow. DELICIOUS!

Negativ:: Room was sold as disabled but the door was too narrow for my wheelchair unless it was folded up. To be fair the Hotel advised of this before we arrived so not unexpected, but if wheelchair bound it would be a problem.

Negativ:: A lack of choice on the menu in the dining room for dinner other than lobster and steak, which has been on the menu there for years and we didn't like much.
