Positiv:: Everything I was extremely impressed with thier service and how they took care of you They always made you feel special from The moment you stepped in One will always go to a Hotel that will wellcome you back .. remember you , appreciate your stay and give you a better deal everytime you come back .. that is in essence what makes a Great Hotel from a good hotel I have stayed at many hotels in London ..some of the main ones ie landmark etc But I have never been treated to such a high level of service than at Langham Every call was answered with my name and that was there everywhere you went it was very personalized And the most important thing was that you were remembered , appreciated for coming back and given a better deal and Servive for your continued patronage It was an amazing expirience and Langham is the Hotel for us Every depts service was exceptional

Negativ:: Rooms had issues. Although well furnished & comfortable, the first room was above the subway so really disruptive until after midnight, with trains every few minutes, making sleep almost impossible. We asked to be moved & the second room was somewhat below ground level. The windows were set very high, they overlooked the air conditioning unit for the kitchen & therefore lacked any view, let alone natural light. I might stay at the hotel again but only if I could speak to reservations regarding the room.

Negativ:: Als wir abends in der Libary/Bar saßen war es kalt und zugig von der Klimaanlage und von den ständig geöffneten Türen. Somit sehr ungemütlich.

Positiv:: Das Ritz London ist ein wunderbares Hotel. Die Mitarbeiter sind das Herz des Hotels und tun alles, um dem Gast einen schönen Aufenthalt zu bereiten und ihn zu entlasten und zu unterstützen. Noch immer habe ich ein Lächeln im Gesicht, wenn ich daran denke wie herzlich sowohl der Empfang als auch die Verabschiedung waren. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Produkte sind vielfältig und sehr lecker. Zu einem reichhaltigen Buffet mit ausgewählten und sehr frischen Produkten kann man aus der Karte Gerichte bestellen, die in der Küche frisch zubereitet werden. Der Service ist überaus freundlich und professionell und hat es nach unseren Beobachtungen nicht immer nur mit einfachen und freundlichen Gästen zu tun. Die Zimmer sind eine Augenweide, darüber hinaus bequem und alle Funktionalitäten sind vorhanden. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und bieten vor allem Platz. Das ist in englischen Hotels ansonsten nicht immer der Fall. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden sehr gerne wieder ins Ritz reisen.

Mir gefiel die Tatsache, dass die U-Bahn-Station direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite war, sodass man vom Flughafen aus weder mit dem Taxi noch mit dem Taxi einsteigen musste. So einfacher Zugang zu allem, was wir sehen und gehen wollten, die ganze Zeit, als wir dort waren.

Negativ:: Das Hotel wirkt abgeranzt und schmuddelig. Überall blättert die Farbe ab, die Möbel sind verbraucht und speckig und teilweise wurde einfach mit Klebeband hilfsbedürftig geflickt. Nervig war auch, dass wenn wir ins Zimmer zurückkamen, jedes Mal die Klimaanlage voll aufgedreht und auf 18 Grad gestellt wurde, obwohl wir sie immer ausgeschaltet hatten.

Negativ:: Personal war sehr unaufmerksam und teilweise unfreundlich, für das Zimmer wurde zu viel von der Kreditkarte abgebucht und bis heute nich zurück erstattet. Das Zimmer wurde ohne Aufforderung nicht gemacht obwohl wir von Morgens 7 Uhr bis 16 Uhr unterwegs waren, somit wäre genug Zeit vorhanden gewesen. Beim Checkout wurde ohne zu Fragen 15% als Trinkgeld auf die Rechnung geschlagen und nur auf Aufforderung wurde dies wieder entfernt mit dem unfreundlichen Kommentar dies sei bei ihnen aber üblich. Alles in allem völlig überrissene Preise für den Service der geboten wird. Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel unangemessen da bekommt man besseres geboten für ein Standardzimmer für 790 GBP/Nacht ! Das Frühstück war in Ordnung aber man hatte noch nicht mal den letzten Bissen genommen da wurde einem schon der Teller weggezogen, sehr ungemütliche Atmosphäre und das für 26 GBP/Person. Wir hatten das Gefühl man wolle uns schnell wieder loswerden.

Dieses komfortable Hotel ist in Piccadilly Circus. 500 m vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, kann die Unterkunft von zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten aus bequem zu Fuß erreicht werden. Die bedeutendsten Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten können vom Hotel aus bequem erreicht werden. My room was basic, but clean and had everything I needed including water, tea and coffee. Really pleased and will recommend. Dieses komfortable Hotel ist in Piccadilly Circus. 500 m vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, kann die Unterkunft von zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten aus bequem zu Fuß erreicht werden. Die bedeutendsten Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten können vom Hotel aus bequem erreicht werden. In einer Entfernung von 50 m können die Reisende Anbindungen an die Transportmöglichkeiten finden, dank denen sie die Umgebung erkunden können. Die Einrichtung umfasst 112 gemütliche Gästezimmer. Als Ergebnis des konstanten Qualitätsversprechens, wurde diese Einrichtung 2014 komplett renoviert. Zusätzlich gibt es in den öffentlichen Bereichen einen kabellosen Internetzugang. Auch die Koffer wurden am letzten Tag vor der Abreise ohne Probleme für einige Stunden im Hotel aufbewahrt.

Having flown 36 hours I was very frustrated to be denied a jug of hot water by reception and told to use the coffee machine which proved to be faulty. Upon my return to reception I was finally given a jug of hot water to take back to my room. Several of the lights were not working in the room. The hotel is tucked away from the main traffic noise but the floor boards are extremely squeaky so if your neighbours are up and about you will know about it. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, very poorly designed and as you are stepping out of a bath it can be very slippery, would not be suitable for less agile guests.

Dies entspricht nicht einem Hotel dieser Klasse. Nur nach Aufforderung wurde uns die Wartezeit mit einem Tee erleichtert.

Positiv:: The hotel is situated right in the heart of central London. The bellman was well train, polite and can remembee every small detail of the guest. The room decoration is pretty nice.
Negativ:: On the moment we checked in, I raised the ac is quite warm and the staff said the ac works just be patient. So I went out for and got back to the room at late night, AC didn't work. It was even worse. We cant breath in the hotel room. Hence, we asked the staff to change the room and the staff at reception said every rooms in this hotel was fully booked. I should have raise this up since the beginning (which I did). The staff said the AC doesn't work the whole floor. They've been trying to fix it but since it's late at that moment so they will fix it on the next day. However, for some reason they managed to get us moved to the new room. But they actually downgraded our room, the room is smaller, Restroom is half size when compared to the room we got at the beginning. They insisted it's not downgrade and they charged us the same amount of money.

Negativ:: The delay response on our orders, they take more than 30 min. to do what we ask for. Also, we have booked a room with a garden view (which cost a way more than a city view). HOWEVER when we came over to the hotel, the receptionist informed us that all rooms with garden view is occupied. This is a lack of credibility!

Negativ:: Die Zimmer sind eine Katastrophe, so muss es im gefängnis sein. Die duschen sind schimmlig und auf den fluren riecht es eklig. Das gebuchte u bezahlte Frühstück war ungenießbar! Ärgerlich. Entschädigt hat uns einzigst das super Wetter, damit wir immer draußen sein konnten u nicht ins Hostel mussten.

Negativ:: Leider muss ich sagen, dass ich die Unterkunft nicht besonders sauber fand. Ergänzend muss ich sagen, dass ich sehr viel wert auf Hygiene lege und möglicherweise der ein oder andere das etwas lockerer sieht. Jedoch waren schon öfters Schimmel und Rost an den sanitären Anlagen zu finden sowie verschmutzte Toiletten. Die Bettwäsche war sauber, die Betten jedoch sehr durchgelegen. Es war nachts oft laut. Alles in allem empfand ich das Hostel als bereits in die Jahre gekommen und etwas teuer für die erhaltene Leistung.

Positiv:: Sehr zentrale Lage. In der Nähe der U-Bahn-Station und der Oxford Street. Weniger als 10 Pfund für Taxi zur Paddington Station. Das Zimmer wurde kürzlich renoviert. Nespresso im Zimmer. Viel Stauraum (Schubladen, stauraum). Sehr professionelles Personal. Kostenloser Druck, damit wir für unseren Abflug einchecken können. Bequemes Bett und Kissen.
Negativ:: Die Renovierungsarbeiten dauern noch an. Die Bauarbeiten fanden im Zimmer neben uns tagsüber an einem Wochentag statt. Am Wochenende gab es keine Bauarbeiten und es begann werktags zu einer angemessenen Stunde. Es gibt nur wenige Annehmlichkeiten im Hotel, aber wir wollten sie nicht nutzen. Meine Frau hat nicht so gut geschlafen, da sie ein Konturkissen benötigt und eines war nicht verfügbar.

Negativ:: The reception in 1st floor rather than ground floor is very inconvenient. There’s an elevator but they don’t tell you about it. So you see residents go down the stairs with luggage but no one tells them where the lift is hidden. Breakfast is very modest and cheap. The concierge doesn’t answer the phone. Also reception takes few calls to answer.

Negativ:: the breakfast pancakes and waffles, the room scent too strong in lobby, horrible elevator music playing all over the hotel, worn down interior, lamps that didn't work, the door had been painted so many times it was hard to open and close without using a lot of force. The hotel just doesn't feel luxurious at all.

Negativ:: The room wasn’t ready when we arrived at after 4pm. Then the receptionist told us he didn’t know When the room would be ready, not long hopefully, so we used a friends room to get ready and to leave our luggage as we had dinner plans. When we arrived back at the hotel after 9pm, we were told our room was ready. We went to our room which was clearly under renovation, dirty, unmade bed empty drink cartons and rubbish all over the bathroom floor. We went back to reception and the receptionist was unaware of the filthy room or that it was getting renovated. Room2 on another floor, no air conditioning, broken and when the maintenance guy came he said the hotel was aware but told him to show his face to keep the customer happy. What a diabolical way to treat paying customers. I WON’T BE RECOMMENDING YOUR HOTEL, YOUR ONLY INTERESTED IN MY MONEY NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE- SHAME ON YOU.

Negativ:: - Das Hotel war früher viel grösser und heute besteht nur noch ein Bruchteil des Hotels, der Empfang ist entsprechend viel kleiner - Beim Check in war die Luft im Zimmer sehr stickig - das Zimmer hatte keine Klimaanlage und das Fenster konnte nur wenig geöffnet werden. - Im Badezimmer waren die Holzmöbel aufgequollen und ein grosser Teil der Fugen waren total verschimmelt, total eklig - der Teppich war fleckig
